I just want to thank everyone here in the later part of this thread as being civil in these discussions. I've seen what's going on in other "political forums" on other chat boards, and it's a complete fight club with lots of foaming at the mouth, horrible personally attacking zombies on both sides ... completely non-productive. At least here on M6G it seems we have some pretty level headed political discussions. That's actually pretty amazing and refreshing at the same time.

Nope, but if you want to take it that way that's your choice.

Anyone with any unbiased reality can see the similarity. Hard core followers are brain washed to some degree, and therefore loose a sense of what's right or wrong. It happened in the past, and it can happen again.
Can't happen here in the United States (like say Germany, Italy, Russia ) until they disarm the majority of the populace. Funny how that works.

Guess I see Trump as continually degrading in his role as Pres because of his lack of morals, level of lies and behind the scenes schemes. Last thing I feel is sorry for someone who causes his own repercussions on a daily basis.

If he stopped acting like he's above the law, and stop tweeting lies and smears against his perceived enemies on a daily basis, more people might see him in a better light. That goes for any politician. Could you live with someone who operated like that in your life; ie, your siblings, children, spouce, friends, coworkers, etc?
Or his lack of morals in your judgement, he has never been given the benefit of the doubt about anything. He has been labeled as everything from Hitler to Genghis Khan. His family has been attacked. I can see why he might feel people are out to get him. I don't need him in my life, I need a President who acts in the interest of the US economy and protects us from foreign dangers. I don't want Mother Teresa for president.

Exactly ... I'm a super strong proponent of the 2nd amendment. What scares me the most about the Dems is their insane drive to disarm America. Other things I don't like either. It's pretty hard for any Rep or Dem to make me totally happy. That's why I don't like politics much.

I agree ... but what puzzles me is why didn't anyone blow the whistle on Biden when all that broke open at the time, especially if it was publicly know so everyone heard what was going on? There could be more to the story ... who knows. The public is basically a heard of sheep that is typically in the bark most of the time.
Biden is a WHOLE other deal. Come on - regardless of politics or party - who REALLY believes that Joe Biden would make a good President? You really believe that someone won't be pulling his strings? I wish they'd have covered his first election to the Senate when they made the movie "The Irishman". Would have been funny for people to realize old Joe got support from the Delaware teamsters over another candidate - the head of the Delaware teamsters at the time? The "Irishman" - Frank Sheeran. I'm serious by the way. I read the book years ago. "I Heard You Paint Houses." Great read. Many people might be shocked how much pull the Labor Unions had / have among Democratic Politicians.

Yeah, I have a feeling that most of the people in this country only care about the stock market and their 401K. They could care less what the Pres does as long as that makes them happy. Again, somewhat of a dangerous way to think IMO.

I agree on foreign dangers, and one of those dangers is allowing foreign governments to mettle in our politics. So seems there is some hypocrisy going on there. I think a lot of people are willing to overlook that danger these days just because the "economy is booming". Thing is the economy will not boom someday, regardless of who is president.

One of those dudes said he tried but was told not to worry about it, Biden had enough family troubles already and didn't have the "bandwidth" to deal with it. If only Bush had left one of his cronies who "cared" about America. That came right out of the dems freakshow on Wednesday.

Get your point, but bad analogies. Gun laws in Germany got less restrictive under NAZI rule, and the controls put on Jews were basically unenforceable.

Lots of hypocrisy, look if we would have said anything like Schiff read aloud in his secret bunker, it would be different. He didn't, there is no evidence that he threatened to withhold the aid unless Ukraine helped him. Even out of all these guys, no one can say that there was proof of a quid pro quo, all we see is Trump asking about election meddling and asking about the Bidens' level of corruption. That was after Biden bragged about the very thing on TV that Trump is being accused of. (double standard alert here). Maybe he has done something that deserved impeachment but this ain't it. This is total shit. This is nothing more than 1 more attempt by the dems to screw with him. Look, he is not popular with the repubs, if they really had something real, they would use it to get rid of him too. They bailed on Nixon like rats when it became apparent he did something wrong, they will do it to Trump.

Why? he has somehow won the US presidency while still hiding the fact that he is a Russian Agent (or maybe a double agent and we are supposed to think he is an agent so Russia thinks he is an agent so we can really spy on Russia), managed not to start the nuclear holocaust that was predicted and get us out of NAFTA so the Canadias don't profit anymore off of the cheap US labor pool.
There hasn't been a nuclear holocaust since 1945. So he should get credit that there hasn't been one since he came into office either? There hasn't been a celery crop failure under his rule either thank God he's prevented that too! What cheap labour pool are we benefiting from? What is it you guys still manufacture that we are buying so "cheap"? Oh is it the coal??? Cuz I know that's coming back in a big way right?

You didn't have that problem before, I am starting to see where foreign meddling is damaging to our political process. The more of your posts I read the more I wish we could just let the Russians have you.
They don't want us they already have your guy.

The entire Russian thing is funny coming from the Democrats though....you HAVE to admit that. Remember the '12 debate with Obama and Romney?

I think the quote from Obama was "The Cold War is Over."

And for the record, your statement about "most" people is wrong. There are plenty of people who volunteered / volunteer to wear a uniform for their country - REGARDLESS of whether they didn't agree with the sitting CIC or not. In fact, we currently have more living combat veterans (as in actual infantry who were involved in direct actions) in this country since WW2. There are plenty of people who care about more than the stock market / economy - but keep in mind MOST people have to wake up every morning and go to work to support themselves / their family. Many don't have the time or the stomach to wade into the cesspool that has become politics / news / current events in this country. Not to mention a lot of people who are afraid to voice their true opinion on certain social issues because they've seen so many attacked by the other side.

He's the world's biggest bully especially on twitter. He brings plenty onto himself. But Melania is going to combat online bullying so maybe he will stop then:)

Really? Did the Weimar Republic create a firearm registry or no?
