I agree, Obama and Clinton handled Benghazi horribly and can not make up for their terrible decisions that night. Trump handled sending in a QRF and attempting to fortify the Baghdad embassy correctly, he listened to his cabinet and the joint chiefs and did what was right. However, as much as Soleimani deserved to die for all the horrible things he's cause for decades this was a thoughtless action that will have grave consequences and could lead us to war which NO ONE wants. Now, I am not saying Iran did not warrant military might, just not to the extent of killing basically their Vice President, again his actions did warrant death but this puts us in a terrible situation with an uncertain future.
We are basically pouring gasoline on a smoldering fire with ZERO structure in place in the Middle East.
This gives zero incentive for any enemy of the US to ever cooperate with us again when we have one President come in and start discourse/negotiate a nuclear arms treaty when another President comes in, scraps it, and then kills their second in command.
Trump unilaterally broke said treaty because he didn't like the was it was signed by Obama, what should have been a new era of cooperation between our nations is now looking more and more like another war one of which we haven't seen since WW2.
I really hope Iran thinks this through and backs down from an equally damaging attack, however, I imagine they will at least ramp up cyber attacks, proxy wars, and their influence in the Middle East.
Least we forget that in 2016 conservatives berated Hillary claiming she is a war monger and that shed drag us into a war with Iran or Russia. On the same hand they said Trump would be a better pick as he would 'put America first' and keep us out of a pointless war. There is absolutely no consistency. This isn't even getting into the fact that Trump most likely took this incredible action on the heels of him most likely losing reelection or having to deal with a Senate trial, see: Clinton striking Iraq to to delay impeachment. Not to mention Don Jr tweeting this and Defense contractor stocks sky rocketing

For you, everything is either "left" or "right" ... you have zero capability of thinking without a stupid MAGA hat on while clutching your Trumpy Bear.
