There's got to be a picture of the MMR 5.4 or 5.5 stroker Coyote pistons out there
it’s nothing exotic. It just squeezes the ring pack together. I’m not saying it’s impossible or even impractical. It just compromises the ring pack dimensions and rod/stroke ratio.

The biggest reason Ford will not expand the Coyote is packaging (production car) and cost. At some point in the equation, ROI becomes an issue.

If they made a 'bigger coyote', they'd only be producing what, 20,000 a year? They are building 40k mustangs a year right now, half of them are four cylinders. And, the Mustang is nearing the end of it's production run (at least for this design) and it could have an all-new powertrain in the next revision.

Honestly, the Coyote hasn't really changed since 2018 (blah blah dual throttle bodies). It's starting to get long in the tooth. Meanwhile GM has gone LT1/LT2, LT6, LS6...

Maybe if the 'bigger coyote' also went into the F150 it would win buyers back from the six cylinder trucks, like Dodge did.

So actually, the Gen 4 coyote in the F150 is significantly different then the S650 coyote. First time that has really happened...

The F150 Gen 4 has cylinder deactivation, Godzilla style oil pump, different cylinder heads, etc... The 650 coyote is more of a gen 3.5.

If they put a bigger V8 in the F150 it would likely be the Godzilla based 6.8. There have been rumors for some time about the 6.8 showing up in the F150.

I thought they can only put it in the HD trucks because of CAFE/EPA

CAFE/EPA is no longer an issue with the current administration... The engine is already built, runs on the same PCM hardware as the coyote, same bellhousing bolt pattern, etc... About as close to drop in as you can get.
