If piece of mind, you can do the crank and oil pump gears when you install the SC to minimize the motor tear down process.Aren't their gears that need replaced? I guess I am referring to other things that would make sense to upgrade that aren't in the kit.

The throttle body is the most expensive part. As tx-ripper said, it’s much cheaper to get the stage 2 from the start. I made that mistake in 2015, but didn’t make it again in 2018.
