  1. Wisconsin Lung nGauge (married) & magnetic vent mount

Just sold my car so I no longer need this. Lund nGauge w/ magnetic vent mount. The nGauge is married and cannot be unlocked, so it is only good as a data logging device/gauge pod. Asking $280 shipped OBO.
  2. What Compression? Odin or 3.0L Whipple?

Any idea how your engine blew? Roush or aftermarket tune? Anyways, for what its worth, Lund always recommends sticking with the stock Gen 3 compression ratio (12:1)but I’m thinking that’s with E85 readily available.
  3. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Looks like a solid performing setup, especially for the price!
  4. Whipple vs VMP

What are your goals? If you want something this summer, go with the Odin. It’s a solid setup that’s very comparable to the Whipple until you start pushing 4 digit horsepower. It’s going to have a little more low end grunt on paper, but probably not noticeable.
  5. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I just don’t believe the boost numbers that they rate their pulleys. There’s not a single supercharged setup out there that makes 700+ RWHP on 7 psi. Do either of you have a boost gauge?
  6. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

The sizes were just stated as a point of reference as to what comes with the base kits @ what PSI. Obviously Procharger uses a different step up AND a larger crank pulley (Stage 2).
  7. Whipple Stage 1 or 2?

Doesn’t seem common but heres one. There’s been several on S550 Facebook groups, but I hate digging through them. Seems like mostly Whipple cars for whatever reason.
  8. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

The standard pulley with the Vortech is 3.6” on a shared drive (10-11 PSI on an aftermarket tune). Procharger generally sends a 4.75 (8.5 psi) with their Stage 2 P1X kits unless you specify otherwise, which is a dedicated drive with a larger crank pulley. The step up ratios between the blowers...
  9. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

No I'm saying a 60 degree variance between nearly identical intercooled centrifugal blowers is not going to happen.
  10. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Yeah that's just not going to happen with a intercooled centrifugal design.
  11. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Agreed, but we’re talking about a centrifugal supercharger that is very similar in design to its competitors; especially the Prochargers.
  12. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Boost is boost. Blower efficiency doesn’t matter for what we’re talking about. Eh, I’m going to trust the big tuners. 9.5 is very safe on 93 with good fuel. Maybe they’re thinking with 91? I’m going to guess Kevin is pushing 10-11 lbs based off his dyno.
  13. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

That’s really strange they would say that, especially for a blower comparable in flow to the P1X. The Vortech V3/Paxton 2200SL are pushing 10-11 psi on the tuner kits @ around 7500 RPM on the standard 3.6 pulley. The stock procharger pulley (4.75) is about 8.5-9 psi on stock manifolds. 10-12 PSI...
  14. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

8 psi is “baby” boost, even in Gen 3
  15. VMP Odin IAT

Any updates on your IAT issue? This is another kit I’ve been eyeing up but those IAT’s are not good.
  16. Fore fuel system and Paxton install lessons learned - added dyno

Oh cool that’s very good to hear. Keep this thread updated if anything changes. I’m pulling the trigger very shortly here...just can’t decide on which kit! They both have their advantages/disadvantages.
  17. Fore fuel system and Paxton install lessons learned - added dyno

Did you ever get the ACC figured out? This is why I am hesitant on going with a Vortech/Paxton kit honestly. Seems as though the PC intercooler(s) clear just fine.
  18. Corsa double helix x pipe with the stock active exhaust?

My car isnt home right not or I would. No pops and ZERO drone in all modes. It barks during cold starts for sure!
  19. Corsa double helix x pipe with the stock active exhaust?

I have this setup and it sounds mostly great. Normal mode is a little “tinny”, but track mode completely eliminates it without being obnoxious. Quiet mode is still super quiet and my preferred morning drive mode.
