Has anyone else had their whipple fail

Seems like the longest wait to hear anything back on status

Been told several times I'll get a call back and nothing at all

Been on car 9k miles oil completely black loud whine noise

It's pretty interesting. It wasn't but 8 or 9 months ago that Whipple reps were on here constantly bashing Roush blowers, etc. Doesn't seem like we can go 2-3 days without reading some kind of issue with a Whipple set up. And in this case, a customer service issue.

Where did you take your car?
I sent them the entire whipple
Oil shouldn't be black in the supercharger been taking forever
I call to follow up and they say they will call me back and never call me

I've not heard of a failure yet myself. How long have they had your Supercharger?

Since last Thursday they haven't even looked at it yet from what I got told
Running 93 and 3.625

Yeah...I'm sure it's very frustrating, but Whipple has always proven to me and others here they will take care of there customers. In the performance industry they stand a the top for customer support innovation and quality. Its frustrating I know to wait, but I would call back until you get some answers.

Any foreign material?

Uh, if they got it Thursday before the long memorial day weekend, its not reasonable to expect they worked the weekend on swapping gearbox or changing seals.

Heck, Memorial day weekend, any active duty and veterans might just be ahead of you in line. Just saying.

To be clear, we were not open on Monday.

As for black oil, that's not abnormal. Oil turns dark brown within first 1000 miles. Extra black can come from pcv system and or faulty catch can types.

All RGA's are handled within 3-5 days of getting them in. HolidYs are a bit more difficult due to many employees vacationing. We've been in business for 30 years, not going anywhere, rest assured we are on it and will get back to you asap.

Actually Roush still has the same issue making nearly all phase 2 customers go spend an extra $500 or more for custom tuning.

We're actively helping customers at all hours of the day. No comparison.

Depending on what time they got your SC on Thursday, they have it for 3 business days tops, since being closed on Monday. Every holiday sees at least some employees taking time off the day before or after to stretch it out. It doesn't seem like that is an unreasonable amount of time so far. I mean hey, you have the vendor coming on the site to give you some info, so you know they give a sh*t. You'll be back hauling a** in short order I'm sure.

Whipple makes a great product, I don't think you should keep bringing Roush's faults to light to look better. Especially since they haven't said anything in this post.

Anyway, looking forward to see what you have in store for the 2018. 2650 TVS also.
