  1. Blower wait times for delivery?

I'm very sorry to hear some are unhappy with the shipping lead times. I do take offense to some of the things said. There are zero lies. Further, I'm not talking to dealers, generally that's only when there are problems. I have 55 employees that work for me, I don't talk to all dealers...
  2. Whipple car runs bad - tune issues

We have gone to email based support, we've said this many times, we also have a link on our site to make this simple. You were told the manager was on the phone? Is that an actual complaint? Were all on the phones most of the day. We've been in business 32 years, we ship out thousands upon...
  3. Whipple car runs bad - tune issues

He doesn't have a problem, we don't have to fix his issue. No, it has not. The temp is a non-crtical sensor and has no calibration based issues related to it. We write our own software and their is an issue with it in the software, not in the calibration and it doesn't properly populate the...
  4. Whipple car runs bad - tune issues

I'm sorry you feel that way. I can 100% agree, no calibration is perfect, even stock, which has teams of people, years of testing, every possible advantage still have lots of issues. So much so, they issue updates all the time. The 2018+ Mustang/F150 has an update every 30 days since its...
  5. Whipple car runs bad - tune issues

Best thing to do is to use the Tomahawk tool, use the "Whipple List" and data log the area of concern, then go to our website, create a support ticket and the techs will review to see if there is anything that can be done to help.
  6. Whipple car runs bad - tune issues

2 things we found overtime, and only on manuals: 1. If you have an open grille feeding a plastic airbox, meaning, different than stock which gets it major source of air from the front center grille section, then this can cause a great deal of false signals to the MAF sensor. This can greatly...
  7. Bad tunes from Whipple?

That is correct, I wouldn't put it on here if it wasn't true. I don't know all the methods of the drive cylce, we know OP ran it with the stock cal and drove it around, complained about its lack of power and poor drivability. Our tech has in our notes that it had gone WOT. It was a simple...
  8. Bad tunes from Whipple?

Excuse me? We're simply stating the stock cal is most likely what damaged the engine, not the Whipple cal. You can't run a stock, NA calibration on a 12:1 supercharged high rpm motor, it will kill these thin pistons almost immediately from either pre-ignition or detonation. As I said, we've had...
  9. Bad tunes from Whipple?

If I'm not mistaken, you drove the vehicle under load with the stock calibration. On a 12:1 motor, pump gas, cheap pistons, the knock system does not have enough authority to even remotely save an engine. Even at part throttle, we run some 20deg less than stock timing. Fueling, I honestly don't...
  10. Whipple car runs bad - tune issues

Do you have knock limiting and load limiting off in the Flight Control setup? Is power per gear set to max in each gear?
  11. Whipple car runs bad - tune issues

Yes our ticket system allows us to follow through better and answer more customers since it’s difficult to find trouble shooting based customer service. It sounds like your vehicle is in a safety mode to save the engine, so we need to figure out why. My first question, what year is the...
  12. Whipple car runs bad - tune issues

Gonna need a bit more info. The same cal for the past few years has been pretty solid which normally means there’s another issue causing the issues.
  13. Another Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Thread

The Edelbrock has more boost than 16psi in that graph you shared. You know it had 16psi because the article stated it has 16psi? It flat lines significantly early in the pull, why? It's out of airflow capacity on the inlet side. Put a small TB on ours and pulley down to get it to same boost...
  14. Another Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Thread

Using some other car for any comparison is your first mistake. I don't know anything about what PBD is doing, they do a great job but I can tell you what we know. They did one the other day that did 540/710 so you can't compare that car to your car. Here's an example of an 18 here while we were...
  15. Another Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Thread

Again, your talking about a 2018. The graphs you show, the difference is timing. 1deg of timing on our system is 22-28rwtrq, 2deg more and you would be in the low 500's. Our original cal, which this has, was extremely conservative on timing at lower rpm. We released an update a few months ago...
  16. Another Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Thread

This torque is normal. It’s a 12:1 motor with dI, it makes more torque than a 2015. The only time TVS makes more torque is when you pulley down but have restriction up top to control airflow at higher rpm.
  17. Another Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Thread

First, your testing a 2018, not a 2015. Different engines, different results. 2018 has better heads and cam, lowers boost 1psi, all else equal. We measured vacuum, we don’t need to estimate what flow the SC needs, we know that and a larger, higher flowing TB is only required when the SC or...
  18. Another Edelbrock E-Force Supercharger Thread

It was quite a simple test, some may try to spin it. We used the Edelbrock Stage 2, directly from dealer. They only had the Ford Racing TB available, it’s what came with the kit at the time. It’s what they sold and said was better than anything else out so we had to see. To keep the test...
  19. 2018 whipple cal. pulley experimenting

The 11-17 motors don't act like this motor so what was before does not fully carry over. Since we are so far from MBT (over 30deg), every 1 deg in our range is 25RWHP, give or take 3hp. If boost goes up 1psi, timing and all else equal, it will pick up 25rwhp. So its a balance of boost and...
  20. Let me tell you about my whipple experiance so far.

Sorry to hear about all the issues, certainly not our finest hour. Were constantly improving and adapting. We've changed packing methods, managers and assembly procedures to try and make each kit a more pleasant experience. Unfortunately, we as a team can drop the ball sometimes, something that...
