Still confused on what to do... should I keep the 5w-20 in the car and let it continue to tick as posted on the video via the google drive link I shared... or drop the oil and put 5w-50...

I would switch to the 5W-50 and add a bottle of ceratec. Tick will probably disappear and you’ll be good to go!

I heard it's 5w50 for 18+ (note that it says 10 quarts), 15-17 is 5w20-30

I'd also double check that these guys didn't load you with 10 quarts of 5w20 instead of 8 as they did on my car once... because I have a "track pack"

I ran the 5W-30 when I was NA. They run 5W-50 in the GT350 and being FI, I think it’s the way to go. Probably depends a lot on how you drive the car too

5W50 here as per Whipple on my 17.

Did the tick go away? My 2017 started ticking but not as loud. It’s audible with gas but not consistent. Started showing up after my normal amsoil 5w30 I have a whipple as well.

This is the oil you should use. Its specifically designed for Coyote engines.

I agree with Dominant1. I run FR50 w/ a bottle of Ceratec for safe measure. 1000whp Whipple. No tick

I’m running one bottle of ceratec and 10qts of 5w40 rotella synthetic. No problems here.
