Don't get your hopes up, Whipple has pushed these shipping dates back on several occasions. First it was March, then April, then May, now you are saying June. My lord, I figure mine will show when it shows, I just hope it gets here before too late in the summer, so I can enjoy it before winter hits. Come on Whipple, quit playing with our emotions.Lethal emailed me, my shipping date is 6/20. The waiting is the hardest part.
No typo 6/20. I ordered on 4/13. First come, first served.Is that a Typo ? 5/20 or 6/20 ????
Agreed. It gives me some time to do the rear end. I've got a fully loaded Ford Racing cast iron differential. I need to swap the pinion flanges and the traction lok is out, and a Wavetrac is going in. I'll do it this weekend. Been waiting 3 weeks for Drive Shaft Shop axles and a C.F. driveshaft. Again, waiting is the hardest part.Yall know Dustin is fighting everyday to make sure the system performs to the very high Whipple standard. I dont want a rushed system, I want a robust, reliable and stress free experience and trust they have very good reasons for moving the schedule back.
I trust Dustin, Whipple, and Ford on making the correct decision when things are ready.
BMR recommended the Wavetrac, and it is recommended in the drivetrain section here as well.PM me a Wavetrac review after 6 months?
I have no idea what the labor would be. I do all my differential work myself. The Wavetrac is $1165.00 and the FRPP ring and pinion install kit is $144.00How much is it to.convert to a wavetrac??
I installed my DSS CF drive shaft on my 18 a couple of weeks ago . It has a bad drive line vibration .I asked my installer to look to see if the pinion angle could be adjusted but he said no .I was hoping it would "settle" somehow ,but it shakes so much I am going to have to send it back .Agreed. We ended up cancelling the DSS driveshaft. I ordered a QA1 CF driveshaft from Steeda. 4 to 6 weeks for delivery.I installed my DSS CF drive shaft on my 18 a couple of weeks ago .
