My first, 1967 Mercury Cougar. But I did not get rid of it, it was totaled because of an accident.
Still have mine, which I bought in 1986 heading into my senior year of high school.

As for ones I regret parting with (too many), the one I'd like to have back is my '01 Bullitt. It was one of the few blue ones. Loved that car.

I regret selling:
1965 Ford 250

I also regret selling my 1987 GT that I had crammed a 408 4V Cleveland into. I don't have any very good photos of it, but this will give an idea.

I miss my Porsche 944 and slightly regret selling it.

But mostly the 2016 GT350. It was a tech pack car. I did all the work to add cooling, which is an even bigger reason I should have kept it.

When I was much younger I had a 1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo. I truly wish I would have held on to that one.

Had mine in 76 & 77 and bought for $750. Back then 1st Gen Mustangs and Cougars were just another used car.

My first car. A candy apple red 66 Thunderbird. Was a young and dumb teenager. That car was a beast. 390 FE, C6 and it moved to be so heavy.

Had a 1987 944 in the same color. First owner ordered it here and went over to Stuttgart when it was build. Kept the German registration plates which were pretty cool.

My first car was a '68 Cougar. Unfortunately, the previous owner had abused it quite a bit. It was a never ending money pit of repairs. I finally sold it to someone with more patience (and money) than me and bought the '73 Gran Torino Sport I mentioned elsewhere in this thread. I would have loved to have said I regretted selling the Cougar but I can't. I love the original Cougars but not that specific one.

There are three cars I seriously regret selling. The first was my 1937 Chevy 2 door "street rod". It was mostly stock looking with updated brakes, wheels interior and a Chevy small block engine. The second was a 69 427 Nova. The sound of that Chevy big block is something I will never forget. The last and one I miss every day is my 2010 Porsche Carrera S cabriolet.

My old RSX-S. First car I bought. Torn it apart more than once.

Stolen.

I still have dreams about recovering it.

As the tittle says. Anyone who’s been in the car game for a while has a 1 or 2 cars they wished they should have kept. I have 3
‘86 5.0 LX Mustang notch
‘02 C5
‘04 Mustang GT

The 86 notch because they had this really good retro look, and you see so many out there with either an LS or a Coyote swap it’s just painful to me thinking about it.

My 02 C5 was my baby. A consistent 10.8 car but was married at the time with kids and the ex wife wouldn’t stop nagging about it so finally got rid of the Vett and 2 years after that she went out the door too.

My 04 4.6 M6 was a fun car and I’ve seen so many folks pushing nasty hp out of those 4.6 engines and to the fact that they sounded great I should have kept it.

Oh well what’s a life with out regret. 😂
