1956 Porsche 356 Speedster. I got it in '76. It started red, but I had it stripped, shaved the side mouldings, and painted it in black urethane. It was a blast, but when I moved from SoCal to northern Nevada I didn't think it the weather would suit it (no windows, just side curtains), so I sold it. If only I had known how much it would be worth these days...

Yeah....you probably don't want to know how valuable those are these days (assuming you don't). I watch, in awe, every one that shows up on BaT.

I bought a 1970 Torino Cobra, 429SCJ with ram air, top loader 4 speed.. around 1980....The car was a basket case. The owner had it stripped down and primed. Everything was out of interior, engine was disassembled,....just a rolling shell with boxes of unlabeled parts. It took 9 months of solid work and $$$ to get back on the road. I drove it until 1990 and had to sell. We were moving and didn't have a place to keep it. Kicking myself ever since.

It wasn't mine. It was my dad's. I begged him to let me buy it, but he was right, there was no way that I could have afforded it. It was a 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. We had nicknamed it Battlestar Cadillactica. I still see it in my mind today. Shaved and laid out on air. Man! that thing would not launch, but it would burn the tires for days.

Didnt get rid of her persay, more the tires she came with were crap (hydroplaned) and it was a sleety day in March back in ‘14

Miss my little turbo slug, didnt get a chance to mod her other than a short shifter and diverter valve

Tt was a 305/Auto. It was slow for sure. But it handled amazing! I also miss all the glass with the T-tops. Visibility was outstanding for a performance car and it didnt feel like a dark cave like most modern muscle cars. I appreciated the hatch, I use to fit 2 mountain bikes in the under the hatch (with the front wheels removed) This picture is from when I painted the door and was installing new t-top gaskets, which was a tedious job. They didnt leak when I was done, so that was great. I was not pretty, I got it for $2,500 in 2007 and drove it to college.

Beautiful car. I lusted after a Formula 305 in 87, even more so than an LX5.0 though it was slower

My 2007 Toyota Corolla. Put 130,000 miles on it and took into the wilderness multiple times on dirt roads that would make soccer dad's in their big lame SUV turn around and leave.

Traded it to my nieces 5 years ago and it's been wrecked by 4 different people and still runs strong.

I know, I know.. It's a COROLLA for christ's sake.. But I tell you what, I loved that car.

Somewhere in this website are pictures of two cars of the three I regret selling; a blue, ‘65 fastback, 289 with a top loader 4 speed manual, my white ‘72 in which I put a rebuilt 351 Cleveland with a C6 automatic and 9” 4:56::1 gears. Yes, it hauled ass… and recently, I sold my black ‘83GT with the 5 speed manual. But I have my ‘15 and memories.

These GTs are iconic in every sense of the word. Absolutely gorgeous car.

Owned and daily drove it for about 18 months, and only got rid of it because my daughter got too big to ride in the back seat behind me (son was in a car seat at the time, and had to be on passenger side). In hindsight, I should have kept it and leased a cheap commuter to haul the kids around in...
