Yes very silly to use oe nuts. Take some time and look at every model offered by Gorilla. You will find similar.

I'm not saying tires aren't a fun first step, and you're welcome to experience the improvement they offer. But fixing the chassis and control are hot on their tail.

And I think Supercar3 are better than ps4s, unless you have a habit of drive in deep, standing water.
So my thing about the lug nuts, i've used aftermarket stuff before and had nothing but issues with them with rusting and rounding off. Grated these were "who knows what" brand from fleabay but I don't want want a repeat of that. On top of that I do what that big nut look, think it looks tuff.

But yeah for sure I plan to bolt suspension upgrades on, really just wanted to get more miles on it before I toss obvious aftermarket parts on it in case I need warranty work. Had issues with Subaru when I bolted OEM STi stuff onto my 2019 WRX and had the rear end blow up. They tried to blame the OEM STi shocks, struts and bracing. Everyone on the forums insisted Subbie would be cool with it but they in fact weren't cool with it. Was a real shit show and as soon as I got that fixed I traded it in for the Stang (which is what I REALLY wanted anyways). With all that said I do really wanna bolt on the Steeda stop the hop kit since I notice that hop whenever I dump it at a red light. Also, gonna end up with a shifter sooner rather then later, was thinking the Steeda one if only because they retain factory reverse lockout. So I guess what i'm asking is, after tires what should I bolt on for chassis improvements? I really wanna focus on how the car feels. I had a few cars in my life but I thought "felt good" to drive, my 87 Fox Body comes to mind, had some bolt on stuff and a trick rear end and it handled as perfect as a car could for me. Could make it grip when i wanted or make it slide when i wanted and while it rode firm it didn't rattle my fillings out. Gonna make a thread on the suspension sub forum when it's closer to me bolting stuff on.

Sorry for rambling, can you tell i'm on my 4th Monster Ultra on my night shift? lol

You must not be familiar with Ford lug nuts =). I'm pretty sure they are still a 2 piece design through all the model years.

Lot's of really helpful information being posted. I would listen.

FYI, if you don't run spacers, you will only be able to rotate side to side (assuming you don't end up with directional tires). At that point, IMO you aren't gaining anything because the wear remains in the same location on the tire.

Find a set of used gt350 rims, and run 305 30/19's all the way around. Technically not a square set up but you can remount tires for rotation. This is what i did, saved a lot of money on new rims, dont have to run spacers or ext wheel studs. Then get a performance alignment, -2 camber up front, you may need camber bolts or plates for this.

After reading this thread and thinking about it i'm for sure going to go for a squared setup. Still mulling over rim styles, for something like the Apex EC-7 that run the same wheel spacing for front and back, how does that work?

you'll have to run inch spacers up front I believe. And to do it safely you'll need extended wheel studs installed in the hubs.

Those are nice wheels - would be a good choice. As Shogun said, 10 inch wide wheel et 35-40 fit great on all 4 corners.
