Hey guys, I'm looking to get some TSW Interlagos (or Portiers) wheels in the coming months. I'll be going with a square set up, and I'm stuck between 19x9.5 and 20x10.

Are there any benefits to the 20s besides the little bit of width?

I'm leaning 19s because They're a little cheaper and ~3lbs lighter a wheel vs the 20s. Plus you get a little more sidewall so it rides a little better.

I've haven't picked what tires yet, but I'm thinking 275,285, or 295?

help?

Benefits?
there are no benefits to a larger wheel, other than aesthetics (and that is a personal thing). There maybe some minor straight line stability enhancement, but whether or not you consider that a benefit is entirely up to your preferences.

20" tires are a bit more affordable, and it seems to suit the car better, imo.

where to start.

At the end of the day the car is yours and the setup is your call as well, now that being said 20" fitment is more reasonable in the sense of finding more options and tire options as well.

For the 19" you are stuck to high disk barrel applications ( rotory forged), besides that it is also tire selection now for the interlagos if not mistaken they recommend a 19x9 front because the 19x9.5 concavity contacts the calipers.

A square set up without the rear wheels poking out is real limiting. The rears need more offset when you get wide than the fronts. You can go with a 285-35/20 on all four corners but you will need different offsets front and rear. 285-35 has plenty of side wall and don't ride bad at all.

Would a 19x10 or 20x10 +40 not fit all the way around without poking? and maybe a small space in front if needed

If I go square with a 40 offset, I would probably get 5mm spacers for the front, would that clear up the brake contact issue with the 9.5 interlagos? Or would I need a bigger spacer since I have PP?

it all is based on the concave design of the wheels as well, I know that for instance a 20x10 niche works no issues, 20x10 bathurst wheels work no issues, 20x10 AG wheels I was the first to do with a custom offset upfront to work and clear the grease cap as well.

so its doable

MRR M350 19x10 Et 40 all around no spacers needed and the perfect fit.
