31k trouble free miles of hard driving. 2k rattle has been consistent since around 5k. Only heard the bbq tick twice for very short periods of time then it disappeared.

Is this tick just an inside joke? I've asked two other people.

There's been dozens of threads with 30+ pages about the BBQ Tick. Ford even put a SSM out about it - they call it the Typewriter Tick. Search the board for BBQ Tick and see how many hits you get.

I bought my 15GT in 2018 at 51.8k miles. I'm sitting at 70.4k miles now. I haven't had any major issues besides clear coat peeling on front bumper (getting a roush bumper instead) and hood paint bubbling (Ford Dealer told me I'm 4 months out of warranty so its on me, super pissed me off). I upgraded the speedometer to the new digital dash and replaced my Sync 2 / MyFordTouch with Sync3.4 so I'm still really happy with the car!

2017 gt pp car sitting at 22k. bought new had the famous tick, valve spring let go and motor was toast and got replaced under warranty happened at 21k. New motor has 1k running smooth and no weird noises

81k miles. Only problems so far was a water pump and O2 sensor. The water pumps are either crap on these cars or revving it out is too hard on these water pumps.

Checking to see who has the most miles on the car. I'm curious how the motor and engine are running after all those miles. I think the most I have seen is a 2017 at 91k miles and did not seem to have many issues. Anyone else have more than that? What has the reliability been like?

I'm embarrassed to admit it - 3600 miles on my 13 month old 2019. Retirement and Corona have had an impact.

32k on my base 2017 GT, bought new. had driveline vibration from 1k miles, fixed around 3k after 4 trips to the dealer (replaced driveshaft + entire rear assembly), issue remains about 95% resolved (still feel slight vibration but most of my passengers dont notice its so minimal). have some weird creaks and rattles which ive learned to live with. had a leaky valve cover gasket repaired under warranty around 30k miles (TSB 19-2260). paint chips and scratches extremely easily. overall happy with the car but a little put off from all the issues.

Edelbrock sells a fancey water pump. I may buy that if mine goes out. Did it do any engine damage when yours broke? How'd you know it needed to be replaced?

2015 GT PP bought in 03/16 with 13K miles, this morning odometer showed 98025 when I got to work. Only issue is the clicking noise from my axles and that's it. AC blows cold and no engine tick. Have been E85 tuned since 14K miles.
