I upgraded from a mazda3 hatchback 2.5L N/A and prior to the mustang.. was the fastest car I've ever driven. Boy is there a difference

I got myself a 2022 mustang gt premium performance automatic with active exhaust, it's so much fun to drive. Haven't felt like I can't control the power yet

I don't wanna hear about the parking jobs everyone has nailed me for it already lol, sales guy made me double park to save a spot for the mustang when it got back from detail so I could move over my stuff

I had 7 Mustangs before this one but I traded in a 2018 WRX for the current Mustang. Only other "cool" vehicle I had besides those was a 08 Trailblazer SS... That kind of soured me on GM vehicles.

Nice. Came from an 09 mazda3 sedan, 2.0 manual myself. Was expecting to have issues shifting into reverse (not 6th, d'oh!) by mistake on the 3 after driving the mustang over the weekend, but about 1 month after i ordered my gt, a truck with a trailer totaled my mazda, so i never had that particular issue. The 3 was not a powerful car, but it was a great car for me. It upgraded an aging 90 corolla that only allowed 1 throttle position for acceleration, and had no AC. 3 speed. From my perspective, the jump from 3 to GT felt as drastic as the jump from corolla to 3, but since everything worked on the 3 still, it was all upgrade and not just getting a working car!

As far as enjoying the driving experience though, the GT is on another level entirely, based on my own experience. Congrats!

I came from a 1983 f350, still have it. 6.9idi diesel. Swapped the 4 speed for a 5, built a 10.25 rear end with 3.73 and a Detroit truetrac and put an ats turbo on. Mustang was my first new vehicle.

2002 E46 M3 (still have it). My M3 is supercharged/built for the track, and honestly, the Mach 1 I have couldn't keep up with it, but there's nothing like having a V8 under the hood.

I always have a back up/winter ride(suv). My spring to fall fun car before the stang was a Pontiac solace Mallet (ls v8 powered 2 seater ). It split time with a 1991 firekawk.

2017 MK7 GTI Sport with Performance Pack. Great car, but it was DSG and I found I missed rowing my own. They're very nice cars to own, especially for the price.

I had a manual E92 M3 but it was a pain to daily it around town because I do a lot of driving. I also started worrying about maintenance and decided to get a Golf 7R DSG. I kept it for 5 years, never had a issue with it but wanted to get back into a V8.

I had a 2017 ecoboost, loved the car, loved the mileage, i just felt a little sad every time i started it… the 4 cylinder startup just disappointed me a little, i wished for that 8 cylinder rumble…
I traded it in this week for a leftover 2022 gt

When my Mustang arrived in early 2017, after a 12 month wait, the car was an addition rather than a replacement.

I actually ordered two cars that day. I went in that day to order a new Ranger, after chatting with the salesman about Mustang's as well, I ended up going back later in the day to put my name down for a Mustang. At the time, wait times for the Mustang in Australia had blown out to 12-months, so I had plenty of time to figure out how to pay for it. The Ranger on the other hand arrived a month after ordering.

That car is my daily workhorse and mobile work bench. It helps pay for the other cars....................

Both of those are keepers, Ford killing the Falcon nameplate at the end of 2016 when they closed the Australian factories, they are effectively irreplaceable. Both were factory ordered, so they are pretty special for me.

My current ride is a 2019 Bullitt. I traded a 2015 Taurus SHO. Before that I had a 2004 Mustang Cobra, a 1999 Mustang Cobra and a 1983 Mustang GT.
