What is this - where did it come from?

I found this laying on my driver seat this morning. I can't see where or what it came from. Do any of you recognize this or know where it goes?

Usually used to hold the soft fabric in place. Something like the trunk liner. Since you found it on the drivers seat... did it come from the headliner?

I look at the headliner, but didn't see anything missing anywhere, nor did I see anything like it up there anywhere else.

Don't know where it came from, but I found one just like it in my driver's floorboard! I couldn't find an obvious source for it either. Just stuck it in my console until I can figure it out.

I have to go to dealer on Monday for them to take a look at a couple things. I guess I will let them try to figure it out. I hope this is not a sign of things to come. I only have 500 miles on this car.

It's a bolt cap. Look between the brake and gas pedal.

It caps the threads of the bolt.

lol, I found one of these too and could not figure it out. Apparently, common occurrence. It will sit on my console until we can figure out the mystery.

I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one that found one of these on the drivers floorboard. I just put mine in the glovebox until I can figure out where it goes.

Check the ends of your levers on your seats. In one of my old cars I found something similar and I found it came from the end of a lever that allowed me to fold the seat forward to get in the back.

I found one of those under the driver's seat when I pushed it all the way forward to vacuum a few weeks ago. Couldn't figure it out, so threw in the armrest until it became apparent where it came from...
