Why is the word RACE even being used? I do not know of anyone on this forum using their car for actual racing. It is pretty clear to me if you use the car out of the parameters of the warranty, you basically screw your self. Point in case, the latest in the Mustang meme saga, Texas GT350 owner destroying rear axel in an attempt to look cool caught on camera.
Raced is being used as it is expressly mentioned in the warranty data. If you chose to run drag races or run in a club like NJMP, you are put in categories and you "RACE". I never said you raced, so lighten up.

Pretty silly to post this in the first place as Ford is on this board. Also pretty silly to leave a helmet in the back when taking your car in for an engine issue.

Sorry to hear that..tough pill to swallow. Another member on this forum posted last week Ford was out of complete engines and was offering him a small block. Different circumstances and with metal going through yours, they shouldn't offer just the lower end. Be prepared for a backorder situation. Sucks...
I think they offered him a short block ... but I knew what you meant. :)

Why should I not post? conspiracy theory? What Have I said negative about Ford or their service or my car? What does my helmet have to do with anything? HPDE require snell helmets which the events them selves do not break warranty. How do I know this? I verified and informed my self of what I could do with the car before I purchased it. If I somehow exceeded the limitation of my warranty, I would have been told the day my vehicle was scanned and before they started any maintenance. To imply that any one is racing their car is ignorant.

You come in here and post a thread then don't like it when someone brings up factual warranty data? Kind of childish. You have no need to convince me. It's Ford you have to worry about. Maybe you should actually READ the warranty. The warranty data is how you know what the limitations are. You honestly expect a dealer to tell you how to use your car. Very naive.

Again, I NEVER SAID YOU WERE RACING!!

You seem like a nice enough guy in your other posts, why are you picking a fight here?

If they were going to deny his warranty for whatever reason they would've done it by now.

I don't like words being put into my mouth, that is why. Please read all my posts in this thread. Not once did a accuse the OP of racing. I simply stated what the warranty says.

I have no problem with the OP. I hope he gets his car fixed quickly.

I'll say no more.

I am going to simplify this in order that you mentioned them:
1. "You come in here" I did not go in anywhere as I am simply posting on a forum via the forum ; ).
2. Why should I be worried about Ford? LOL
3. You did not read my post, I am very aware of the details of the warranty coverage. LOL
4. Don't read between the lines, your trying to hard ; )
5. Why the bold text? lol
6. Post all the factual information you want

Okay folks, my engine is officially being replaced. Ford has contacted me and taking the appropriate step to satisfy this customer. Unfortunately, due to the nature of a limited production hand built motor, I was told there will be a delay. How long? Ford could not say. In the mean time, they have provided me with a rental car.

Good news, engine will be replaced. Bad news, I do not know when iIwill get my car back nor will I able to attend the track attack before Jan17. Bad news does come in spades.

My replacement was approved/ordered yesterday. I have not been contacted by Ford directly, but it seems you (and the dealer) have been chasing your issue for some time now. My car was towed to my dealer last Friday right before they closed and they just looked at it on Monday. My dealer claims I will have my car back in 2-3 weeks, but this is just what I heard from my service adviser. I can't be sure if he's just telling me what I want to hear or if it's accurate information.

Why is your attendance to the track attack related to your car being broken? I thought you can only drive the school cars on track anyway. I cancelled my September track attack, for reasons unrelated to my car, and plan to reschedule for one in the spring.

If you can, could you say how you know this or where you heard it from?

My dealer told me "they [Ford] said they're out of engines. I [service advisor] guess they're going to pull an engine from the assembly line and send it to us to replace your engine with".

I'm not sure what all those numbers mean lol, I'll assume you work for/with Ford in some capacity. Thanks for sharing.

If they do pull mine from a 2017 (i assume) being built, I feel bad if the car they pull it from is one already purchased that an owner is anxiously awaiting delivery of. And on a side selfish note, I wish they could also pull the (track spec) trans and send it to me for my tech pack car LOL.
