Hmm I hope that's not the case. Actually Zitrosounds earlier posted something that seemed like he thinks their is an internal plug that you install before putting the flywheel on the engine. If that's the case, my dealer would have a quite a lot of work to do to fix this. And I can expect more transmission tunnel scratches
Kyle,

I believe you misunderstood me or I misspoke. What i was trying to say was that if the plug was left off it was probably done so during engine assembly since the new motors come with a new fly wheel. I still haven't gotten under mine to see if it is installed. I hope it is and I really hope I did not miss it during my inspection as I was very thorough.

This is correct. At least from what I saw from my new motor and talking to my tech that is doing the motor swap. It isn't (the plug) installed when shipped from the factory. The dealer tech needs to take it off the old motor and put it on the new one.

Thanks for clearing that up. I hope your tech was more thorough than mine!

I assumed this plug was a "move from old engine" piece. I wonder if it's listed in the instructions, if there are any, for engine replacements.

I'll post back an update once I get feedback from the dealer.
