thats what I have mine set at 6c 3r. just trying different combos to see what I like
Excellent. I'm looking forward to the revised shock. Hopefully each vendor recognizes the updated part/revision if stocked locally. It would suck to order these after they change the faulty part only to get an old model.

I'm pretty sure it's at 6 compression 3 rebound, or the opposite. I set it to what BMR had his set to in his thread.

I would have rebound be stiffer than compression. I have the Viking shocks on my 2011 and run 5c 3r. When talking to Kelly at BMR he explained that compression should really be controlled by the springs and it's the rebound that is doing the real work hence why single adjustable shocks are always rebound-adjust.

I've taken my Crusaders off and put the stocks back on. I can't believe the difference in noise reduction. I had learned to live with the clunk, but until I put the stocks back on I hadn't realized how bad it was. One of the Vikings was damaged, probably from when the shock mounts broke, so we'll see what Viking says when I send them in for the upgrade.

Would be nice to find a solution to the noise issue (rare though it might be). Sounds like the consensus opinion is that the shocks work really well clunks not withstanding. I liked mine. Debating Koni Yellows or a full set of redesigned Vikings when they come out with the front strut.

Talked to Jake at Viking ..They are still testing the new rods and updates .. He said it should be a week to get the testing done ... At that time he will send me a return order for the updates to my shocks ..

warrior or crusader is fine, if your not planning big s/c power, the warriors are fine,

we always go straight to the crusader though :)

I installed a set of Viking warrior shocks the other day and ever since I installed them I have tons of suspension noise back there. I did notice that I don't have any bushings in the top mounts for the rear shocks. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

So beef, if I order a set, will they be noise free?

Sounds like you got a set of the original shocks that are noisy. Been a known issue for months already. Viking has a revised shock out that you can order.

Contact your vendor for help.
