UPDATE....
I pulled the rear 6 bolts out of the DS and turned one bolt hole over so the yellow dots would line up. The results are vibration starts at about 65 now and is not as bad. Seeing these results I called my local dealer and spoke with the service manager. He proceeded to tell me that he 'will not look at my car again'. He's only rode it it once! He said it's done and he will not have anything to do with my car anymore.
Am I crazy in asking how and why he thinks he can do this??!

Hey Old Ford Guy,

I'm really considering going the route you have taken if Ford can't get their act together pronto. Did you install a loop when you installed the one piece DS? Is there any need for the loop to be installed if I am not going to track my car? Thanks!

You don't have to accept "no" as an answer. File a BBB Autoline complaint (for those in the US). Make sure your CSM knows you are filing. File, then call Ford customer service and demand to speak to someone who can address your concerns. Yes, it is a pain and we should not have to do this for a new car, but you really have no choice. While it may take a few days, you will get results. I went through the process and after some very frustrating days, it worked. the BBB path parted the red tape.

I will definitely file with BBB if that gets me what I need?! It's ridiculous that we have to go this route with a BRAND NEW car!! They act like I'm crazy for wanting the vibration gone! I wonder what they would do if they bought this car and had the same problem???

It is amazing how rude ALL of these dealerships are when it comes to service!! ...
Let me document this experience for you, Triple Black. Please PM me with your VIN, mileage, full name, best daytime number, and anything else you’d like documented regarding your visit.

My car seems to have a vibration at anything over 60mph. I havent read the entire thread but is this issue truly focused on the range from the original post or are others experiencing this in the range I'm seeing. I took the car to 6800rpm and it shook pretty bad; didnt get worse past 60mph (4th gear pull) but it was rough all the way up.
Have you addressed this with your Ford Dealer yet, madweazl?

Ford CSM called yesterday, thanks Deysha. We made another appointment at another dealership for this Monday. Hopefully we can get this resolved. Not sure what my issue is, engine seems to run fine, but yesterday lifting the hood, you could see the engine cover vibrate, you could also see the hood supporting rod vibrating, and the hood itself. That's what I feel through the car while I'm driving it.
You’re welcome, MaxInTx!

Hey Deysha, PM sent.
Thanks, TheR! I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Deysha

Mustang 5.0 GT same problem

Wish we had read this sooner, Our daughter just bough a 2015 5.0 GT Auto last night trading in her perfect 09 GT that she loved. Well on the ride home (65 miles) on I95 running about 70 MPH I was shocked about feeling the vibration I did not say anything to her yet she was so happy about her new Mustang. Myself our son (RBS550) and daughter have had Mustangs and Fords all our life. I bought our new GT 2 weeks ago but not been out on the highway yet but going out to see if ours has the same problem. Here`s our daughter getting her new stang last night she will be on this site soon! She`s home waxing it today I guess I`ll have to break the bad news to her soon.
Tiffs new stang.webp

I would start the process with the BBB and concurrently notify Ford Customer service. It has been my experience that you should have multiple "irons in the fire."

Welcome and sorry to hear about the vibration. This thread has some good information on what you should look at when deciding how to handle this problem. If you need any assistance just pm. I have been through it.

Yeah, this is one issue that is unacceptable for a new car. Good luck getting rid of it and enjoying the ride.
