I dropped my car at my Ford Dealer (1st one) for the vibration issue, Turbo Noise and that Ecoboost recall. To my surprise, they finally acknowledged both car's vibration and Turbo issue. The vibration was being caused by a bad Ball Bearing (front-Right wheel). I still need to test drive it though (soon!). I'll keep you guys updated.
Did the wheel bearing fix your vibration issue?

I had a friend drive my car this evening and I was able to listen more carefully to where the vibration may be coming from. Both, my friend and I believe that my car's vibration likely is coming from the front of the vehicle. Particularly on the right front.

Do wheel bearings fail on a brand new car?

A bearing could fail pretty early if it was damaged somehow during manufacturing or assembly.

Jack the tire up and spin the tire ... then do it on the other side and compare how they spin and how it sounds. Try to do it someplace quiet so you can hear any odd noises.

Picked up my car today after being told the halfshafts were still not available. ETA early to mid August. No sense keeping the Edge rental since the halfshafts were no longer coming in "any day now", for the month of July.
At the dealership for about a month... boy, it sure was nice driving it out!
Now the wait begins all over again, but at least the baby is home.

Have you escalated this with Ford? They are able to move mountains, so to speak, to get the parts to you. They took the differential Assembly from the factory floor to avoid hitting New York's lemon law 30 day time frame (they got the part shipped and installed on day 24.)

Our 'lemon law' here in Canada is not quite the same as US. Independent arbitrator hears both sides of claim, regardless of time past and determines if anyone is playing games, then settles.
Ford of Canada swears they are doing their best, but jeez, a full month for a halfshaft? And it is only 1 halfshaft, since other one has been on hand since early July. Man oh man.
On a side note, I drive the car home, park in the garage, have to back up a bit [it's like having a new car again] and I get a clank putting it into reverse. My wife says, now this is getting interesting. I try to duplicate it later and of course, it's a no show. But dealer gets a call tomorrow.

I just brought mine in for appointment to get checked out. Mine also vibrates at idle, and even at a stop light, you can feel it, see the mirrors shaking making the cars behind you blurry. It's really bad driving at night, as all you see in the mirrors are blurry lights. It's definitely more pronounced 60-75 mph.
Ill keep you updated on what they find out on mine.

It is amazing how goddamn rude ALL of these dealerships are when it comes to service!! If you come in with an issue they treat you like a moron that knows nothing about a fucking car! They are so condescending it unbelievable!! Absolutely unbelievable!!
Second time back with same vibration problem so they could actually 'diagnose'the problem and I'm met with some prick that is sucking, and I mean literally sucking, the tips of his fingers while I'm explaining to him my issues. I brought that to his attention and he replied with 'What do you want me to do about it?'
I've spent $45,000 on this piece of shit and only have 1900 miles on it and they act like I'm asking for their first borns kidney?!!
Ford has disappointed me beyond words with this issue! I should have stuck with my gut and bought the Camaro. And to think I drove 5hrs to get this fucking car from ford just to be disrespected by some fucking shit behind a desk!
The dealership is http://www.driveclassicford.com/mobile/

I have a 2015 GT with PP. I bought the car because I know cars. I've raced cats and built cars. I know when something's wrong with my car. Also, I apologize for my cursing but I am at wits end with the disrespect from these 'representatives'.
Something has to be done. I'm going to post this across all facets of social media till I get attention.

I feel your frustration Triple Black. I had scheduled mine for vibration. Even at idle it vibrates, told them this. Told them that if you put in neutral and give it a little gas, it stops. Told them it vibrates while driving and gets really bad around 60-70. Solution, balanced the tires. I ask him on the phone, how does that solve it vibrating at idle. He said the car feels and drives like a dream now. I told him I would get it this morning. Guess what, drives like a dream, more like a bad dream. It still vibrates at idle, and going down the road. Nothing has changed! So sick of this kinda crap, and top it off, had to pay for a crappy rental. Funny how the on site rental was a Nissan and not a ford?

That's a good question. And personally, I don't want a 'sports car' that is made for the track to shake so bad at 85mph that it feels like it's going to fall apart!!
My buddy's 85 GT has zero vibration. I wonder why that is??! Hahaha

email from my tech.....
''FROM WHAT MY SUSPENSION TECH TOLD ME, IS THAT THE NEW MUSTANGS ARE GOING TO DRIVE A LOT DIFFERENT THAN PREVIOUS MODELS. IT HAS ALL NEW/DIFFERENT SUSPENSION FROM FRONT TO REAR. YOU'RE ALSO GOING TO HAVE A LITTLE MORE OF A VIBRATION AND RATTLE BECAUSE OF THE CONVERTIBLE TOP AS OPPOSE TO A HARD TOP. "

Sure suspension and all are new....that is good all around and I can tell you from experience with many previous Mustangs this one rides and rives better for all around transportation and enjoyment. The "NEW" is absolutely NO EXCUSE for the vibration issue....that is pure nonsense!! My experience told me that it was a drive train issue and I picked the crazy two piece driveshaft to replace on my own $$$$ without messing with any dealership and Ford. As a check I took my front wheels off the vehicle and into a dealership to check for balance and the like while I watched....they were perfect!

That is when I ordered the DSS DS and installed it myself and the result was a 95% improvement for whatever reason I am not exactly sure. Especially when I hear others are replacing their whole rear end assemblies. FORD engineers need to get to the bottom of this vibration issue and publish it for all owners to take note of!!!!

That's what I'm trying to do!! Hahaha
I just don't see how it's fair for us to spend $45k and then spend $1k to replace a DS?!
Why can't/won't they chk balance and adjust accordingly??
Or at the very least reimburse people for the money they HAVE to spend to do their jobs??
