Gentlemen....I have 200 miles on the new DSS driveshaft and it definitely makes a difference over the OEM in vibration and noise level. The buzzing noise from the OEM center hanger bearing is gone completely. Maybe with the premium option there is more insulation in the floor to dampen any noise?? There still is a very minor hint of harmonics somewhere from 60 to 70 but all the way from there up to 100 is smooth as glass. Road surface surely does make a difference as to tire noise with the Goodyears. DS is relatively easy to install and DSS now has the correct measurements for the V6 auto and are very easy to work with. The one piece DSS DS fits well in the tunnel and is much lighter and more hefty than the OEM all around. How are the rest of you doing getting Ford to respond to this issue....it is strange that most owners seem to have no problem with this??? Now I can take the OEM DS around to see just what the problem is and still have a car to drive.
