Do you experience vibration and rumbling between 50 and 70 mph?

Its hit or miss with cars today, it comes from folks that build these cars are not doing their jobs correctly. My brother used to work for chrysler / fiat on the line and he told me most of those guys on the line are in some sort of drugs, because its the way they deal with the monotony of the job! Whats that say about qc! It sux !!!!!

Finally Ford will buy my 2016 GT Convertible back, they can´t fix it.
New DS and hose clamps made it even worse.

I´m rellay sad about it, because I love the car and especially the sound from the V8.
But the vibration is not acceptable...

Ordered a new BMW M2 Manual which will be delivered in April - perfect for the next season. :)
Sorry to hear that Seewolf.
I trust you will have a problem free M2. Those are great cars!

How long was the process from start to finish? I have been in my lemon law suit since July and this is starting to get on my nerves.
Time line can vary as each state is somewhat different, but yours seems too long. Mine was done in ~6 weeks (from date filed to check in hand).

And I just couldn't believe it when Ford has the service departments putting hose clamps on driveshafts. That's a chicken shit way of doing things. The driveshafts probably came from the same fine upstanding foreign company that supplied the evaporator coils. lol

Thats what I was thinking, but I was told from the beginning by my lawyer, that it could take anywhere from 2-9 months. I guess ford is a little busy doing a ton of buybacks. If something doesnt give by april I'll do whatever it takes to get rid of this car.

It's actually what's shown in the Service Manual as the method to balance the driveshaft.

The hose clamps are specifically designed to balance drive shafts, they have different weights. Its like balancing a tire. There is a kit you buy that comes with sensors that shows where the imbalance is and where weight is needed to balance the shaft. This all done on the car with it up in the air with wheels turning!

I tried to let Ford fix it for months to no avail... I started the lemon law process in September and Ford is still not wanting to buyback so we are heading to arbitration in two weeks. I'm hoping they come back with an offer before that though.

How are you liking your hellcat? I've been thinking of heading across the street from Ford to the Dodge dealership once this through...

Hey, no argument from me about what Ford tells them to do and how to do it. If my car develops the problem they won't be putting those weights on my driveshaft. I will remove it and take it to a race shop.

Just got back my car on Friday after a new driveshaft and new complete differential was put in, It feels good so far. I only put about 75 miles on it and the only feeling I get is from the road now. I really won't know if it's fixed until the spring, but the drive home was good.

Hopefully Ford is getting better at fixing it.

Mine goes in Thursday , it does not seem as severe as some are reporting here. I just get a "rumble" at exactly 50mph , then it goes away at 51/52 . The rumble comes back again from 65-70 . No felt vibrations . Swapping wheels/tires did nothing.

Honestly if it wasn't for this thread, I would of never noticed  not sure if I am just being overly paranoid .

Mine was like a light switch at 50mph, then off at 70mph. I noticed it, then searched for others with the problem. It's not as smooth and numb as the Fusion I had as a rental, but with 19" tires I wasn't expecting that from the beginning.

Ford was pretty focused on the differential and driveshaft with mine-mainly the differential as the Ford built one solved the issue so far.

I got mine back from Ford a couple of days ago. They replaced the driveshaft and the differential and had my car from Oct. 27th through Dec. 2. The vibration that was noticeable at 60 is a little less noticeable but the vibration at 70 is just as bad if not worse. I plan on putting about 500 miles or so on it before I take it back just to see if the vibration goes away. (I highly doubt it but I don't want them to tell me give it time.)

I have the vibration as well and the dealer looked at mine today. They confirmed a vibration and road force balanced the tires, I road tested and that took care of part of the vibration. I informed the tech that I still felt the vibration. The tech used the MTS4000 on a second run and said it picked up nothing. However Now the drive line vibration stands out more now than it did before. As BlackGt stated...................They told me to do the same, Drive it and get back to us. I mentioned the fact that the output pinion on the trans had play (up and down movement) The tech said they all do that and that they didn't have a used one to compare to. I asked why would you compare to a used one? compare to a new one. Couldn't answer that one. SMH SO i'll see what case worker says when they check in with me in a couple days.
