That video was mine and was just at idle speed. I probably need a flange as well to totally kill it. I'm happier, but not totally satisfied. I may contact Ford Service soon. Not upset with my dealer at all. They've been great so far, the driveshaft was definitely messed up and they replaced it.
Can you find the post#? I want to see it again.

Dealer called early this morning, rear Diff is in and will call after the road test. Must be a long road test since my phone is just laying on my desk with me watching it with anticipation like a kid waiting for Christmas morning. :(

The differential helped but the tech isn't satisfied its vib free; pulling 1/2 shafts and if that doesn't work I'll have to wait for engineering to come from Detroit... I have to commend Mike Burkart Ford for staying on this; I've experienced some pretty bad service at other dealerships. Right now I've had the car for 5 days and the dealership 10 days. :(

Dealer has had my car for 21 days. Told me the rear differential should ship out sometime next week. Really about to trade this thing in on something else once I get it back. My dealer has really made me hate this car.

I took delivery of my 2016 Gt 3 days ago, which in itself was a rough adventure. It took 2 dealer trades to get the car I wanted in Ingot Silver, as the first car arrived with a scuff on the bumper. When the car did arrive I was working, so I had a family member pick up the car for me, so I never test drove it.

My first time driving it was to work the next day, I decided to bypass the highways and take back roads to prevent chips with this car. However these roads dont go above 50. It wasnt until yesterday I experienced the vibration, running late I decided to push it to 55 and thats when I felt it. No matter what road I turned on, at exactly 55 the vibration started. I can feel it in the wheel and in my right butt cheek the most. I then arrived at work and began googling and found this thread...Im really feeling defeated now. This is my 5th mustang and Ive had transmission issues in the past.....(stupid tr3650/Mt 82) So I went auto this time thinking Id be safe :(

I really don't want to have to go through this BS with my dealer or Ford at this point. but I have a few questions.

- Would putting a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft be the best fix?
- Was hoping to put my Borla Catback on tomorrow but im afraid they will say thats what caused the vibration if I do take it in. Should I wait on this?

Yes, wait on adding mods that the dealer might blame until the dealer has documented the issue.

My Vibration with 3.55 rear started earlier and was present during acceleration, when maintaining speed, and was especially noticeable when coasting down.

After rear diff internals were replaced, vibration is now not as bad when accelerating but is still present, noticeable and bothersome when maintaining speed and coasting down. However, now with a dealer set rear diff, I also have other vibrations after running the car hard.

I would imagine that the Borla exhaust, at least the one I heard, should help mask the vibration.

If the one piece drive shaft fixes it for you, then please let us know.

Starting week three waiting for a resolution. I think the dealer has a confrence call with Ford today, or it was last Friday, not sure as the weeks are starting to blend. What color is my car again?

and useful members of this forum chastise me for boldly calling out Ford to release a TSB, and because I refuse to bring my car to the dealer without one and participate in this mickey mouse bullshit.

anything we can do force Ford's hand for a faster, complete solution?

I dont care if the solution is a new trans, driveshaft, and diff package for every car - they need a repeatable fix they can apply to all cars that will 100% fix the problem every time quickly.

brb going to edmunds and other websites to spread links to this thread to inform the uninformed populous about this seemingly unfixable problem.

And Dayisha, or whoever the Ford rep is, please get us a response this week from Ford engineering about the internal status of this problem and proposed resolution / TSB date.

I too picked up a dealer trade silver ingot manual with 390 miles. I sometimes feel something around 60 but can't tell if its the road or not. I traded a 13 wrangler that had a bad harmonic vibe at 60 so this thing feels pretty good at the moment. My butt indicator will sort it out sooner or later. Currently 720 miles.
Been looking at the one piece driveshaft but read they can cause harmonics?

I get no phone call from my service advisor , spoke to him last week and he said my differential came in and they were working on my car putting it in . Now it shouldn't take a week to put a diff in . They must have ran into problems or the cars still making the noise
