Do you experience vibration and rumbling between 50 and 70 mph?

Torq isn't grip it's proper bolt stretch under load.

If you want torq them at 100 but don't complain if wheel falls off. Wheel studs are bigger on 15-up than earlier models

Well theyve been torqued at 100....ill throw a few more pounds on them.

I was using the word "grip" as slang....meaning "alot"

I don't know if this is related but I notice the P-Zero Nero all seasons on my GT flat spot really easily. I have encountered this problem before with Hankook summer tires. The tires would flat spot turning into an oblong just after a day.
The first mile or two drive you can feel the tires not round and the car shakes abit. Once they warm up, the tires are round again and smooth.

Yeah I'm thinking the tires might also be a issue. I never prefer the tires the company puts on. I will be purchasing a different set. Thinking of going with Michelin super sport.

Been having trouble with those Pirelli all seasons as well. Dealer already had to replace one and I'm probably going to have them replace another one.

And...1001.
I hope to order a new CS soon, and really hope I don't have these issues. Fingers crossed on both.

Would having the single piece shaft give smooth ride in higher speeds?

I think this is an issue with most dedicated summer tires (soft rubber), my P-zeros do it as did my Conti DW's (which I absolutely loved). As you said, they are rough the 1st few miles, then 'fix' themselves as they heat up.

Got car back today with new driveshaft. Vibration seems to be gone but I haven't driven it much yet.

I checked the torque on my lugs (thank you, Enzo!), and found that the FSE apparently was not aware of the new torque spec (as well as 4 other dealers I called). I retorqued all lugs to 150, but still have the vibration. On a more (hopefully) positive note, I dropped the car off at the dealer for a last try (thank you, Deysha!).

Apparently, despite the car being in arbitration for the vibration, Ford is allowing my dealer to take a look at the vibration and the convertible top rods. Hopefully, they take the first step with the vibration -- that is, admitting there is a problem instead of using the "Jedi Mind Trick".

Here are the results of the torque checks on the lug nuts:
Tire Lug 1 Lug 2 Lug 3 Lug 4 Lug 5
RF 75 100 110 85 90
RR 100 100 80 85 100
LR 120 70 50 70 85
LF <50 65 95 95 110

I torque mine to 120 and they have never loosened up.

Wow, that is terrible. Was there weird vibration upon braking?
