Do you experience vibration and rumbling between 50 and 70 mph?

Yes, mine made a weird noise when I was having the problem. Felt & sounded like cavitation on a boat prop. At 1st I thought something was wrong with the s/c then realized it couldn't be since it was only @ that specific speed range.

Quick question for you guys with the driveshaft problem , are you guys hearing like a blowing in a bottle noise (that's the best I can describe the noise ) at around 65mph. That's noise im experiencing but I'm getting not really getting any vibration expect a slight slight vibration in the steering wheel which I started noticing today when I drove the car .
The best way to describe it is that it sounds like a sub woofer, or bass speaker playing a constant low note. Other people describe it as a muffled airplane propeller. Yes, you will notice that most around 60 miles an hour, depending on your gear ratio. Mine is 3.73's, and I can hear it all the way from 50 miles an hour to 65. It is not a pogo-ing back-and-forth of the steering wheel like a tire imbalance would make. The drivetrain vibration is purely a first order harmonic around 30 to 50 Hz that matches the frequency of the drive shaft rotation. A tire imbalance at the same speed is about 7 to 12 hz.

Even though the driveshaft made mine much better, the noise was not improved all that much, just the perceived vibration. I have also noticed that it is less severe on warmer days, maybe the rubber in bushings is softer. The whole thing is somewhat compounded by the fact that the tires (19" p zero nero all season) do make quite a bit of noise on their own. Mine is due for its first complimentary oil change in about 1000 miles and I will see if they can look at it again. My dealer unfortunately does not have an analyzer and it was a bit tough convincing them there was anything wrong the first time around. I may ask to drive one of the other cars on the lot to see if there is a difference.
Overall very disappointing since I drive 80 miles per day highway and really cannot give the car up at this point.

Didn't have any luck with the dealership. At first they said they don't have a loaner program for warranty issues. Then they said that they only offered loaner programs for people that bought an extended warranty. And THEN they said they might be able to compensate me 50% of the cost of renting a car. Give me a break. Every time the guy spoke, a completely different story came out of his mouth.

I also mentioned/showed the employee this thread and he said "that doesn't prove anything."

Waste of time...I'll try to find another dealership.

For what it's worth, mine seems to be intermittent. I've experienced "moderate" vibration from ~65-70mph that was enough to blur the rear view mirror. The last time I drove the car it wasn't there at all...perfectly smooth. And this was on the same stretch of road, and even in the same lane. I have a feeling it's related to temperature...but we'll see.

That's a shame , I have an appointment with my dealer tomorrow and I have a feeling handing out a loaner car Is going to be an issue as well as I mentioned it while making the appointment . And the person on the phone didn't sound too confident that I would get one .

Well...availability and not offering it at all are two different things. Are you saying they might not have one available or they don't offer them period?

I'm thinking of purchasing a new 2016 Mustang V6 auto and I'm concerned about the vibration issue. Does anyone know if this issue is still happening on the latest builds or has Ford found a fix? The build date of the Mustang I want to buy is Feb 23 ,2016.

Any help/advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

Test drive the car extensively. I mean 50 miles at all different speeds. On the hwy, go in 5 mph increments from 50 up to 75 and back down. The sales person will think you are crazy but you really don't want to have to deal with this... In general, the car will exhibit the problem from mile 1 but some people have said their car didn't have a vibration until it had a few thousand miles on it. I think you are generally safe buying a car that doesn't have the problem when new, though. If one car does it, test drive another one. Totally crazy that Ford makes customers do quality control for them, but for some reason, they don't seem to care (enough).

Well nothing from the dealer. All they have done is take the driveshaft out and checked it out said it was balanced and still waiting on ford to tell them what to do. Fords quick to sell a product but they beat around the bush to repair it
