I purchase a Mercedes C350 4matic with AMG package today and it's super smooth, My mustang with vibration is now limited to local driving untill I get vibration resolved, I love the 5.0 and will continue to drive it all year round just no more long highway trips, I was fortunate to find the C350 for a steal and been looking for a long time for the right one, Still haven't had time to work on stang again but will continue on this issue.

I was over on Full Tilt Boogie Racing's web site looking at rear IRS components and came across their instructions on how to set the rear IRS pinion angle. I don't know if this is helpful, but maybe it is for those who need visuals:

I finally got my car back today. It took the dealership 8 days to replace the drive shaft and do some other adjustments. The car used to vibrate between 50-70. You could feel the vibration in the steering wheel, drivers seat and the parking brake handle. Now there is a slight vibration at 55 and it goes away quickly. No vibration between 70-75 which is where I normally drive on the highway. Hopefully the vibration does not return.

I should have said other attempts to fix the issue. They roadforce balanced all four wheels and checked the DS runout which was out of spec by 0.048. Solution was to replace the DS.

So it's still there a little bit. I'll bet it will return. Mine was fixed 100% and came back days later. I still bet almost all of them do it a little bit. I could deal with a little bit but the loud howl and having to pay for a diff and/or tranny after warranty I cannot deal with. Now that Christmas work is over I am going to try to reopen my case and file with BBB. Ford can't get away with screwing people like this...

It will come back, mine did in a new albeit less annoying way, but it still came back.

How many people have had success with aligning the rear subframe and locking everything in place? Or messing with driveline angles?

It would be nice to have a good way to adjust the angles but that being said. After aligning mine and using the steeda braces to hold it mine did not come back until I removed the braces to return the car for a buyback.

Steeda subframe bushings and braces did nothing to mine still vibrates.

did you actually square the cradle with the car or just install the parts? I did a square procedure and it went away even without the braces but I put them on to make sure the soft rubber did not let it move again

I did not square it, With the bushings taking up the slop I don't think it can be squared or am I wrong.

It could be but it may not be. I didn't install the bushings intentionally so that I could truely square it just incase there was an issue with the bolt holes being out of place a bit.

I sent a msg from here to Ford Service to ask about reopening my case. We will see. I wonder if it's too late to do a buyback... Car is still broke!
