Why would I need one ? Idea that button push changes "performance" is - let's say - pretty funny...
It changes the fuel mapping so could possibly. Your butt dyno doesn’t count here. Per the OP he wants some dyno runs for documentation. Opinions everyone has lol

Modes change throttle mapping, that's all. At WOT, you get max power which is the same in all modes. Even wet and snow :giggle:

People think that car is faster in Sport mode but that's due to non-linear throttle mapping, they press the pedal less but get faster acceleration, because they are scared to press it fully. It's only mind games.
yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s only throttle response but nothing wrong with testing it . So far this thread is all opinion with no proof! Lol

Technically, track mode limits or disables different "assistants", it may also change fuel mapping and many other things. Ford specifies that the HP values given in the spec sheet were obtained in Track mode even though they do the measurement on the engine and not on the wheels and I suspect they do not care about the throttle mapping either.

On the side note: I pretty much dislike Sport+ throttle mapping. It feels like it starts at 30% throttle and there is no way to have a smooth control over the throttle for small adjustment. I would like to have Normal throttle and Sport+ for everything else.

Hahaha fun stuff, when we start getting Dyno sheets I'll edit my first post and list all of them in order.

The point is to try to get as many baseline pulls in one place AND see how people achieve added power.

Obviously, type of Dyno, Temp, Humidity, Pressure could all affect results but we're looking for big jumps. +/- 3 hp doesn't move the needle.

FI is a totally different deal, let them post there.

Can you cut and paste a few? Don't have a FB account, will never get one.
