I’m still amazed the GT350 never got one.I heard that Ford is planning on producing a Tune for the Mach 1. Not sure when though.

Damn Canada! Sheesh.I wish I could experience 100 MPH in my BULLITT. Here in Ontario, if you are caught going 50 KPH over any posted speed limit, you are charged with either
Stunt driving or street racing. What that means is: (this is from our government website)
Drivers who are involved in stunt driving or street racing are subject to:
• an immediate seven-day driver’s licence suspension
• an immediate seven-day vehicle impoundment at roadside (whether it is your vehicle or not)
• a minimum fine of $2,000 and a maximum fine of $10,000
• a jail term of up to six months
• a post-conviction licence suspension of up to two years for the first conviction, and up to 10 years for a second conviction within 10 years
• six demerit points
So our highway speed limit is 100 KPH which is 62 MPH. If I get caught doing 150 KPH or 93 MPH, I get all of the above. In fairness, I’ve never heard of anyone going to jail or losing their licence for 2 years but everything else is fair game. And 6 demerit points will triple your insurance rates for 5 years!
We have a toll highway north of Toronto, speed limit 100 KPH. Go out there any Saturday evening and you’ll see Porsches, Lambos, all types of high end cars being loaded on to flatbeds and the drivers waiting for an Uber!!
1) This is why I live in TX. Aside from not having to deal with the taxes y'all do we have miles of well maintained secondary roads that never see law enforcement unless called by a rancher. Ford was too busy replacing motors I guess lolI’m still amazed the GT350 never got one.
It's probably to do with critical speed and 1/2 critical speed for the driveshaft more than anything.Think its 163 for the base, 166 for the HP, which is odd. Not sure why 3MPH matter. I also have not heard about the PPL2 having a different limiter than the GT or PPL1 but it should have more stability than the Bullitt which is 163 limited.
The whole limiter thing is an odd scam. We know a Bullitt can do over 170MPH. The Mach1 base, HP and GT PPL2 likely can all do the same.
2015-2017 MT82 is a 5+1 trans w/5th being 1:1. 2018+ MT82 is a 4+2 trans w/the 4th being 1:1. In other words the 2015-2017 is a single OD trans while the 2018+ is a double OD trans."Pretty sure 5th is 1:1 on MT82. That's the gear they ran my 2015 GT on dyno."
It shouldn't be an issue w/your PP2. 2019 PP2 w/Borla S-Type & resonator + Steeda CAI & tune ... 450+ RWHP @ 7000 RPM & 410 ft/lb torque @ 4500 RPM. Steeda (FL) dyno on 10/15/2020. FWIW, the above torque number is pretty much flat from 3500-5500 RPM."What cars is this an issue on? First I've heard of it. I have a 2020 PP2, would I have to contend w/this also?"
Wow. Yours? Impressive numbers!It shouldn't be an issue w/your PP2. 2019 PP2 w/Borla S-Type & resonator + Steeda CAI & tune ... 450+ RWHP @ 7000 RPM & 410 ft/lb torque @ 4500 RPM. Steeda (FL) dyno on 10/15/2020. FWIW, the above torque number is pretty much flat from 3500-5500 RPM.

Yes, sir. But, to be fair, it's all Steeda's 'fault'. I just took it in to pick up the additional 20 hp that the Bullitt & Mach 1 have. But James was having way too much fun as the numbers kept going up. They even quantified that the throttle body spacer (555-3225) was worth an additional 5 hp in my particular application. We called it a day when the hp gains dropped into single digits. This is not a race (or even a track day) car where every little hp is important.
What’s really crazy is frpp had a track key, 90mm and 100mm TBs, 4.09s gears, and a bunch of little things. These where are in prototyping, you can still find articles about these parts. Then I’m fall of 2017 they canceled the entire program. Considering what’s been going on with the EPA ford is probably wishing they had something out for the bullitt & gt350 guysFord was too busy replacing motors I guess lol
Lol then Steeda will come out and go we gained 40whp with our tunethats 20 GT A10 numbers... (go ahead ask me how i know) Something doesnt add up. Im guessing they didnt pull it far enough (possibly due to the factory limiter), or they didnt use 7th gear (1:1)
