My 2017 GT w/PP needs a new passenger rear TPMS sensor. The programmer/remote isn't able to pick it up but does the others just fine.
Wasn't with a Mustang but saw a video where a guy used a small section of 2x4 on either side of the valve to separate the tire from the rim without taking the tire off the rim. Then he was able to get the old TPMS/valve stem out and put the new one in.
My concern is getting the car to recognize the new sensor because I think the serial number needs to be programmed into the car.
Has anyone done this? Hows it done? Anything to watch out for?
Thanks!!
