Who makes the easiest to install, straight forward Tow Hook setup. I bought one from Amazon which was a long bolt and hook, I am returning, looks very cheap.
I appreciate all opinions.
Thank you
Doug

I will agree that the ZL1 is the easiest to install. I am about to install the ford performance gt 350 mounted to exit at the lower grill instead of the upper. If i can do it with no or ver little modifications then I will stick with that one. if not I am going with the ZL1 hook

Thanks. So you think the ford performance might be better with less modifications

Please note that the std off center ZL1 can be installed without removing the front bumper cover, (so they say).the Ford Performance has to have the bumper cover and crashbar removed and thecrashbar drilled. The Vorshlag needs the bumper cover removed and a small slit cutout of the lower grill, which is not too bad. The hook bolts to the passenger sid crash bar bolts. If you want simple and be able to remove the hook when not in use then go with the ZL 1.

I've been looking at the center mount zl1 but their web site only shows the tow hook and "shank", does it come with a bracket to mount it too? And does the bumper cover have to come off. They aren't very clear on the site or I'm just missing it.

The center mount one has to have the bumper cover off and the crash bar drilled. the std off center one uses the OEM crash bar mounting bolts to secure it. If I didnt already have the F.P gt350r hook I would get the ZL1 off center hook. I am planningf to do the F.P hook tomorrow

Can confirm the offset bracket can be installed without removal of the front bumper. Just the undertray has to come off.

I dont think the F.P. hooks are very well liked here because up front you will need to cut a small slit in the lower grill and on the rear you need to remove your back up light. But here are a couple of pics of mine installed.
