Since the first one was fun to read I thought I'd ask a part two...

When at a stop light, Stay in first or do you go to neutral?

With me it will depend on the where I am in the line and when I get to the light. If I am first in line and first to stop I'll stay in gear most of the time. Sometimes I'll go to neutral for just a few seconds then go to first. If I'm in the back of the line I'll go to neutral...especially in a long line and if I get to the light when it turns red...

If it’s going to be red longer than 5 seconds, I put it in neutral.

I put it in neutral unless I think it’s only going to be a quick stop or constant inching forward at the light. I try not to stay on the clutch longer than I need to generally

I coast in neutral every chance I get. Always at a light.

Don't you hate when you are sitting and it seems to be long as hell...then you shift to neutral and it changes....
If you're paying attention, the green light is almost never a surprise.

I put it in neutral. Also if it's on flat ground, I don't stand on the brakes the whole time either.

The exception being if I'm at the front of the line in the wrong lane and I need to tree the guy next to me to make the next turn. 🤣

Even then I wouldn't put it in gear until the cross traffic goes yellow.

I have a few around where I live I can time them out to know when to go back in gear...But you are correct, paying attention you can certainly know when the change is coming.

… and pull the e-brake. Give both feet a break !
lol.. I’ve never done that.. most of the time I can take my foot off the brake and it don’t go anywhere, illinois flat roads… probably cuz one of my wheels are sitting in a pothole so the cars stuck.
