In my years of driving, I've only seen one road with a traffic light was followed by a 50 mph speed limit. So, where else can you accelerate to 50 mph in 1st?

Not sure. There's a ton of it around here.

Less than a mile from my house there's a road with a 50 mph speed limit. I have a stop sign before I turn onto that road, so I'm naturally in first gear. Most roads with a 50 mph speed limit connect to other roads. Often you have to stop before entering. When I leave work there's a stop light prior to the freeway on ramp. On my way to work there's a light at the top of the on ramp as well. I'm surprised there's nothing like that around you. I would expect you just aren't looking for it.

Tons around here, we call them expressways

We also have metering lights to get on to just about every highway and expressway. So you are at a dead stop and have to accelerate to highway speeds

They could have done a better job with the window lowering to clear the seal/door opening feature. On my 20 year old Boxster, if you lift the door handle a bit, the window moves down to clear the seal. Continue to lift and the door unlatches. My wife's VW EOS does the same. On the GT350, the window seems to move based on door position, not handle position. I found a work-around: as you lift the door handle, hold the fixed side of the handle with your other hand keeping the door closed, then open the door slightly and the window will lower - now open the door -the window is out of the way.

I found that you don't need to use 2 hands; just hold the door closed with your thumb and control the opening.

Washing and Drying the car is also a PITA: a lot of nooks and crannies to look after. Man, these first world problems...

I thought about using my battery powered leaf blower - EGO 58V - this thing is awesome!

Out of curiosity whats weak about it? Mine seems no worse then my other cars but they may all be weak :-d. Its not very loud

I find the base to be very weak and the clarity is only ok-ish. But, it's all about personal preferences.

Washing and Drying the car is also a PITA: a lot of nooks and crannies to look after. Man, these first world problems...

I find using compressed air on those nooks and crannies saves me a lot of time while I'm drying the car. Blow out the front grill, head lights, hood vent, side view mirrors, along the bottom of the side glass, around the tail lights, behind the rear license plate, wheel lug nuts and the rear grills. That keeps those drips from re-appearing after your done and keeps that unseen dirt out.

Short list as there is much to love

1) rear bumper gap
2) sometimes going into 1st feels rubbery
3) weight. I don't feel it unless I'm autocrossing but I know it's there.
4) keeping the wheels clean but fully understandable considering the awesome braking

Im hoping we get some solutions to the weight from the aftermarket.

I'm not a pro racer by any stretch... But I could do a solid 50-75 more ponies under the hood. I have several buddies with GTRs and Z06s and it's pretty much a joke. Dig, roll, whatever I just get flat out crushed. I would like a little more umpff if you know what I mean. Even Randy Pobes (so?) said it on his video of the R.

Man, fickle bunch. My rear bumper fitment is bad. As a guy who spends his entire day, every day, for the past 15 years, looking at cars... I can live with a bad rear bumper fitment. Hell, at least my carpets are glued down, and everything works!

Buy Steeda's clutch assist spring. It makes the clutch pedal feel massively better.
