  1. Loose hose into valve cover

Not correct. Oily crankcase vapors get pulled into the intake tract by engine vacuum and are combusted in the cylinders. The catch can filters a good deal of the oil out of these crankcase vapors to minimize oil ingestion. If you follow the plumbing, it is plain to see. The left side vent hose...
  2. Loose hose into valve cover

Yes. If you can't pull it off without activating the retaining clip, it is fine.

  8. Door Sill Plate question for the gurus

Question is: Why did Ford change them after 2016 to the less attractive "Ford Performance" version? I've always thought Ford wanted to segregate the original production GT350 from the rest.

  10. Shift light question

I've had the same issue from time to time, where it just resets on its own. I don't know why. It's become SOP that I check it when I start the car. Last year or three, it's been pretty good, with minimal resets.
  11. Obsolescence to Obsession – Tales of the Rented Mule (FPRS GT350 Track Attack #14)

The instructors were correct. If the intention is to get the maximum tractive force to the ground, always keep the 350 in the lower gear up to redline. Shifting to the next gear always reduces acceleration in a GT350. I did and posted this analysis here years ago.
  12. Shelby GT350 Garage Photos

When I did my floor with plastic tile, I used 2 layers of heavy landscape fabric as a buffer between the concrete and tile. It makes for a softer and quieter installation.
  13. Sudden rubbing

I recently noticed a front wheel is rubbing when turned close to lock. In my case, I just had my corroded fenders replaced, so I think it is the wheel well liner not properly installed.

  15. Is your 350 rotting before your very eyes, like mine?

I love it! Fantastic car as long as one remembers it is a vintage car. I was in High School when the 928 came out in '78 and it has always been a dream car. I finally got one in 2018 at a BaT auction, something I could turn wrenches on. Very easy to work on, good parts availability and great...
  16. Is your 350 rotting before your very eyes, like mine?

Well, I finally got around to having my fenders replaced under the TSB - it's been 3 years since I found the corrosion. I was holding out until near the end of warranty, in case something else happened to damage the fenders (ding, etc.). I also had the oil cooler line recall done, finally...
  17. GT350 Hood for '15 Ecoboost

The dealer should replace your hood free of charge as it is covered under TSB 19-2026. This is not a warranty issue, they need to open a claim with Ford.
  18. Hood Corrosion Nightmare

If your Boss has an aluminum hood, it is covered under the TSB.
  19. Hood Corrosion Nightmare

Interesting timing. Years after finding the corrosion on both front fenders (Tank's post above), I went to the dealer last week (a few weeks before my warranty is up) to initiate a claim. I learned that this type of corrosion is NOT covered under warranty, as that covers corrosion perforation...
