I don't know if it's related to what Ford calls the Unscheduled Material Hold or not. The rep just said no scheduling until "February" (not Febuary 1). And it has nothing to do specifically with Rs - it's all GT 350s.So basically, if you weren't scheduled before the Christmas Break, you have to wait til the 1st of February to see anything move from the "Unscheduled Material Hold"?
Yea, they have a long way to go. I'm starting to wonder how many R orders there are and IF they are going to be able to fill them all.So, we're looking at 2140 non-Rs and 49 Rs.
That's a lot less than 5000/500.
Very... Thanks. Keep them coming!good point, did you guys find the stats useful?
They might offer other colors, but likely not liquid blue (too much $$). And you could cancel, order a 2017, and unfortunately get stuck in the same boat of waiting 6 months+ for the allocation to be pulled. I would hang in there, looks like MY2016 production could easily be cut short and end up more rareI think what will upset me is if I don't have a car in April, the MY2017 GT350 order blanks come out and they offer a color I really want, i.e. Liquid Blue. If that would happen I might cancel the MY2016 order.
We were also very lucky in South Carolina to get 5 cars for the 2015MY based on our small population base.Louisiana received (5) 2015's. That's a lot more than I would have thought! State's that I would have thought would have gotten more:
New York (3)
Georgia (3)
Illinois (3)
There are other States that I would have thought would have gotten more, but it's crazy to me that those three got less than Louisiana... I'm not doubting the numbers, I just think that's crazy...
We keep talking about this 500/5000 number and there's never been a solid number announced. I don't care if you heard it from your dealer, the zone rep or someone at the Track Tour told you..none of them are the ones setting those numbers.Yea, they have a long way to go. I'm starting to wonder how many R orders there are and IF they are going to be able to fill them all.
