Well since i just finished posting the 5 things i dislike about the car i felt like i really needed to post the things that i love about this car. I will keep the list to 5 as well so that i don't go on forever... the good definitely outweighs the bad by a lot!
1. Engine/Sound - no shocker here, the sound is intoxicating, the rev and power is addictive. i love that once i'm above 4 grand i'm always in the power, on the twisty stuff i shift less because i need to an more because i want to have the interaction.
2. Recaro seats - i know these seats don't fit everyone, i'm not small (6'1, 205lbs) but i couldn't be happier with them, by far the favorite seats i have had in a performance car. They keep you in place so well while driving and for such an aggressive bolster pattern i find them to be extremely comfortable as well. I have gone on a few 2hr drives and have always gotten out of the car feeling fine. I'm so glad i didn't end up with the leather buckets.
3. Sync3/Apple Auto, although disappointed in the sound quality i have been quite happy with the new Sync3 apple auto system. My only wish is that the apple auto was compatible with more apps but its definitely a step in the right direction, the system is easy to use and intuitive.
4. Trunk/Back seat - While this is a real sports car, the trunk and back seat really make this car for me. There was a time when i gave some serious thought to foregoing the GT350 in favor of a Corvette GS, one of the big deciding factors was the back seat and the trunk. Although the back seat is extremely small and not practical for adults it is completely fine for younger children, the trunk of this car is quite large, and the seats fold down to carry larger items. I would say that this makes this a very practical, impractical car to own. I plan to use it for weekend get aways with my wife and daughter and i think i can do with without making any sacrifices (in terms of what we can pack).
5. Transmission - Before i got my car i had my sites set on buying an MGW shifter for it, now while I'm sure this upgrade is still worthwhile, the performance of the stock transmission and shifter have been so good that i put the purchase on hold. The appreciate positive engagement and precision of this transmission, my old e92 M3 had a nice manual but for a performance car i always felt that the throws were too long. This transmission/shifter is right where i want it to be.
Overall i couldn't be happier with this car. Feel free to share what you love so far about your car!
