I weighed the OEM shifter mechanism after changing out to my MGW. OEM shifter mechanism is 6.5#. Refer to post #159 and see that the MGW shifter and hardware is 11#.

MGW Shifter is a net gain of 4.5#

Installed my Steeda G Trac Extreme Brace and BMR Vertical Links:

Steeda G Track Brace + Hardware: 8.5#
BMR Vertical Links + Hardware: 4.1#, replaced factory parts: 3.86#. Net gain of .25#

I weighed my 2015 EB Premium, with automatic transmission and performance package (no other options) and just a little less than half a tank of gas today. Car weighed 3576 pounds, without me in it. Car was empty of all other cargo....just a drink in the drink holder and owner's manual/registration papers in the glove box. Anyone know what a non-Performance Package weighs? I have heard the Performance Package adds +/- a hundred pounds.
Performance package isn't a 100lb gain. More like 30 or so

Does anyone know how much the stock exhaust manifolds weigh on the GT? I'm talking engine to where they connect to a cat-back. I'm trying to determine how much of a weight hit headers will be.

Is the weight of the hanger bearing included in the total weight of the 2 piece drive shaft ? If so, what is just the weight of the hanger bearing ?

Who's doing a bolt on replacement in true carbĂłn or thinner alu?
I can't remember the company but one company had a true carbon fiber hood at Mustang Alley this year for S550s. They actually had a few different panels in carbon fiber. They were also at Mustang Memories.

Watching the GT350 technical video yesterday it talks about the fact the crash reinforcing bar that sits behind the bumper but in front of the radiator is made from aluminium instead of steel on the GT models. That would be a good weight saving on the nose of the car if you could get hold of the shelby part....
Definitely something worth looking into. I'm sure there is an aftermarket company out there that could probably do something similar for cheaper than the OEM shelby part.
