Got my MAP intake on this weekend. Sounds MUCH better than stock. Really makes a lot of noise under hard acceleration and air temps were lower than with the factory air box.
I have a great deal on a MAP CAI if a member is interested.Great sounding intake.

Has anyone found a CAI that fits the 2018’s yet? Every listing I see, the compatible years only show 2015-2017.

I wrote to both Airaid and Injen vis their website “Contact Us” hyperlinks, neither company has responded at all (great customer service)...

Received the following response from Airaid when inquiring if their current CAI (CAI part # 453-326 for 2015-2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost) will fit the 2018’s:

At this time we do not have an intake available for the 2018 Ford Mustang with Ecoboost. AIRAID products are application specific and fit tested. For this reason, we cannot recommend you install an AIRAID intake on your application as we have not fit tested and approved one for your vehicle. If you would like, we can enter a product request for you. This will build demand for the product and notify you if and when a product becomes available. If you have any further questions or concerns, please call our customer service team at (800) 858-3333.

Still no reply back from Injen.

I installed an airaid modular tube on my 2018 with no issues.
I think the manufacturers are hesitating only because they haven't actually had cars to confirm fitment on. I also installed a velossatech ram air scoop with no issues either.

Yeah, I have an airaid int he mail. I chose performance over aesthetics. (The mmr is questionable on performance, but sure does look nice.)

The tube should fit, there was no change in the stock air intake piping from turbo to air box...but the actual aftermarket air boxes might not fit due to the change in the downward slope of the inner fenders, radiator support structure because of the new lower hood line and total redesign of the front nose cone.

I’ve yet to see any confirmation of a 2015-2017 complete aftermarket CAI air box fitting a 2018 (*excluding turbo to box piping).

I have the Cobb CAI. Since I run Cobb OTS tunes, I figured it would be the best match. It makes good turbo sounds.

Not just MAP. If I'm not mistaken most of the brands do.
MAP intake

Actually they relocated the horn so you have to sort of crush one side of the filter to make it fit on the 2018 ... I'll try to take pics of mine .... but I must say I love the sound the intake make .. idk if I lose 1-2 HP over stock intake box it makes all the right swooosh and turbo noises .

Does anyone know why Roush went from an open air box for the 2015-2017, to a closed air box for the 2018-2019 Ecoboost? Did the 2015-2017 box seal against the underside of the hood?
