Armour all doesnt even have an actual ceramic coating. Red flag #1. They only have a spray that would last a few months tops with no prep. The spray is like $20. Huge rip off from the stealership.
Those look pretty deep to be removing by hand. Rule of thumb is if u can feel the scratch with your finger, you will not be able to fully remove them. You would have to settle for a 60%-80% removal as you do not want to burn the clear coat. I would just bite the bullet and either find a...
I would try something like Carpro TarX before a polish. Always start with the least aggressive method. If that does not work then use a finishing polish like Sonax Perfect Finish hand applied. Then move to the same polish but using a DA polisher.
95% of waxes only last a couple months tops, especially if left outside. Ceramic sprays will last 4-6 months. Consumer grade ceramic coatings will last ~2 years
You normally dont want to apply ceramic sprays on top of waxes. It would no properly bond to the paint. Depending on the family of products or even the individual product itself, it might allow a traditional wax on top of the ceramic spray.
Tried the new Turtle Wax Inside Job cleaner/protectant. I like it. Its not a leather coating or anything, but wipes off clean, not slick to the touch, leaves behind some protection
If you have really faded plastic, the best restorer on the market is Solution Finish. If you just want to revive a little bit and protect it long term, DLUX is probably the best for that. VRP, Carpro Perl, Last Coat CeraTrim and other dressings like those will get you 3-5 months of protection.
it does much more. I can wash the car much easier and quicker. Drying is much faster. And I dont have to reapply wax every other wash. And the gloss is on the higher end compared to a sealant
Sure some claim to be "pros" yet are not. True "pros" can mot likely do a better job then you. As far as charging $1k for a coating, most of that is labor. Applying the coating is easy, it is the prep that takes the longest (mostly the polishing step). You pay for their knowledge on...
