I'd like to see blown header comparisons.
There is a damn good reason the only header brand that goes on the cobra jet program is ARH. All headers work as intended some just have much better sound, quality and ultimate flow characteristics. Id say there is very few total junk headers, however very few amazing headers.

I've never liked using the "Because X car uses this brand they are better" logic. Roush uses Kooks.
Not knocking ARH they make really nice headers but I do feel that they and Kooks are overpriced. The $1000 I saved will buy me a GT350 manifold and throttle body that was my thought process.

Same way i justified buying the nguage and CAI...i just couldn't find enough pros to justify the cost of those top brand names

With all due respect to Roush they arent building high quality drag cars that run 8s that ford sells that are built by watson racing. Watson racing uses some of the best of best parts, which is not disputable.

Did you know that kooks and arh used to be one company? A lot of the best employees left because they werent listening to their employees on things that needed to change. They left and formed arh. With is arguably the king of domestic headers and for great reasons they earned.

I dont have brand bias, i buy what is best for hauling ass. Im a drag race junky. I typically build single digit cars only. Ive seen testing between the top headers on other platforms that had boost introduced. All headers just arent created equal on design. If max hp isnt your target its reasonable to expect people want to spend less. To say arh and kooks are over priced is a very untrue statement. You get every bit you pay for in them. All header designs and materials used have their targeted market. All 304ss isnt created equal either. Arh and kooks are for those looking for zero compromise. From what i see that market isnt you. Im just trying to keep things factual. I hope you understand.

deff glad to see TSP makes headers for our cars. I swore by TSP products and headers especially in my last 2 Corvette builds. Never had an issue quality was top notch.

Has anyone used the Holley 1 7/8ths headers yet? I'd be curious on the quality compared to other brands. They are around 899.99 for a stainless set of 1 7/8".

Part number 70103305-RHKR

Typically cheap non US sourced start to show signs of corrosion in less than a few thousand miles. I know that good quality 304 stainless will not pit or rust in turbo applications or blower applications. Usually the rusting happens on the turbo applications. Corrosion and pitting happens on Na and blower applications. A lot of people wrap their headers so they dont see the pitting or corrosion instead of the more worth while ceramic coatings. It typically seems to be the chinese sourced that is lacking on quality
