Yes, although the C7’s I’ve driven didn’t really have any squeaks or rattles
The C7 GS I drove was a super low miles creampuff and it was terrible before I even got out of the dealership parking lot. I got back in my Camaro afterwards and it was so quiet and smooth by comparison I had no desire left for that C7. They could have given it to me and I would have immediately turned around and sold it. Less than 7,000 miles on it.

Not surprised it was in a GS. That car is so stiff and rigid, it’ll rattle the fillings right out of your teeth. I’ve had squeaks and rattles in several prior GM vehicles I’ve owned over the years. The C7’s I’ve driven didn’t but it’s not an uncommon complaint about them. One of the Camaro’s I test drove did have a few squeaks, the other ones I’ve driven did not. I’m sure some of it is luck of the draw. Knock on wood, I don’t have a squeak or rattle anywhere in my Mustang

I would suggest a few options:
1. Keep what you have, drive it and enjoy it. 40k isn't a lot of miles on these newer cars, especiallly with the coyote engine. Unless the car is falling apart mechanically or interior wise.
2. A Mach 1- next step up from the GT in the S550 body stye.. no ipads
3. GT350- totally different experience with the FPC and a 6 speed manual combination.

I personally continue to be amazed at how well my GT350 performs in its price range. No matter what anyone says I cannot see out of the Camaro's and the "berlin wall" in the C8 between the driver and passenger is a no go. I also don't like the body redesign of the C8... looks too much like a super car wannbe.. and finally there are SO MANY c8's on the road... I see them everywhere.
Kind of reminds me of this scene from Gone in 60 Seconds...
