Taking the summer Michelins to get mounted up this weekend and get the all season Toyos off the car that went on late last year. (Going to sell the four of them, 295/30 R19, by the way, after less than 5,000 miles). Decided to try out my tire "bags." Bought a set of them with the intent of...
I think I'm going to move PPF'ing the rest of the front end up my priority list. I have a big sheet that I can do the hood soon then we'll see about the fenders after that.
Made a bad choice to not take the TP home from work last night and instead went the non-toll road route through routes 1 and 9 in Jersey. Long story short, it was miserable, even after 8pm but the topper was the car in front of me lost a big piece of its splitter/undertray at about 50 mph...
So I am almost as smutten (that's like "smitten," only dirtier) with the Ranger Raptor as I am with my GT350. It's almost perfect for all the things I would want to do with it and much more urban friendly than the full size F-150 Raptor, not to mention $40K cheaper!! However, if the Ranger...
Refinancing and interestingly, the wannabe racer's sticker price was $64,900 and today the car was valued at $62,700. And that's with 16K miles. Should be getting the red rim/track tires back any day. Registered for May 27th track day at NJMP.
More like "what did I do with my GT350 today" but I thought this would fit here. I am refinancing and interestingly, my 2019's sticker price was $64,900 and today the car was valued at $62,700. And that's with 16K miles. The thing's doing better than most of my investments!!
If this thing could tow the Shelby on a trailer, I might be willing to even pay the ADM that's sitting at about $10k around here right now. Kinda diggin' the "shelter green" paint too. I had a 2012, but it was just too big for almost everywhere I tried to take it in my corner of New Germany...
Yep. I had about a 1/100th of a second where I thought about saving the money but I just don't have the means to write off my car so I'll be getting the insurance.
I was told by the Porsche guy at my favorite local shop that there's lots of GT350s at New Jersey Motorsports Park and wondering if any of them/you are members here? I'm looking to get there a couple times this year. Always good to go when there's some experienced guys to learn from...
Installed the Optimum Performance extended studs and spacers, along with Ford open ended lug nuts. Went smoothly except that I watched a video of the wrong brake system before I did it. Didn't have the T60 torx bit to remove the caliper bolts and then also realized that I had to remove the hub...
Installed the Optimum Performance extended studs and spacers today in hopes that my track tires/wheels will be mounted up soon so I can give em a try before first track day of the year. Many thanks for all the info you guys shared. One example, I would have never thought about open ended lug...
Do we know if the track attack GT350s had any of the stuff we've seen since like the oil balancing lines on the back of the cylinder heads, or any of the "block bracing" attempts like the MMR version? Or were these things only when teams like Multimatic started running them in actual racing events?
