With the aftermarket world being so enormous I find it virtually impossible to get bored with our cars. Now getting bored with the platform is more likely. Again these are just my opinions. If you’re not into modding then that’s totally understandable as well. There’s nothing wrong with being a...
I believe it was mobile 1 maybe that claimed 100k miles or maybe valvoline. I can’t remember which exactly off the top of my head. If you read the bottle it has about a million stipulations in order for their “guarantee” to be valid. I only saw it around for a few months and haven’t seen it again.
Makes me feel like I’m driving a ticking time bomb. I use motorcraft 5/20 full synthetic in my 17 GT. Beat on it every now and then but for the most part it’s my daily commuter and just hit 90k miles. I change it when the car tells me to even though it isn’t based on the actual condition of the...
I’m genuinely curious. Your car is barely broken in. Why’d you buy it just to get rid of it? I understand wanting something different. I too was considering a vette but would 100% keep my mustang even though it’s going on 10yrs old and just hit 90k miles.
I’ve done nothing but OEM+ mods to my 17 GT minus the coilovers and those have been a huge PITA since day one. I can’t figure out why i can’t get the height right in the rear. It’s my daily so I get to see everyday but I still put the tools down for a while and “walk away”. I got back to it when...
My 17 GT is lowered a lot. By a lot meaning I can’t fit a jack under on level ground. I use 2x4s staggered then up on ramps and do it in my driveway. Order my oil and filter online and get it done.
I always replace the hardware unless it looks to be of quality. You had a bad run. I wouldn’t exclude them entirely because of the fact. Now if it happens again then yes. Plaster them everywhere conceivable. Taking chances is just part of it in this game. We live and we learn.
Idk man. I feel like I’m still going to order from them. Granted they may delete reviews as most folks probably do but, a review that’s on a year old part doesn’t really hold much weight in my book. It does suck you’ve had to deal with it but at the same time things do happen. They covered their...
My car wouldn’t know what to do if it sat all winter. I’m more than certain it would miss its snow plow job. Rain, sleet, snow or shine. My 17 GT sees it all. Price you pay for a daily I reckon.
I’m running OEM gt350 wheels on my 17 GT. I initially had 295/35s on the front and it was hitting the coilover. When I was in springs alone I was just using a camber bolt and that was fine. With the coilovers though it was not. I had to go to a 285/30 in the front leaving the camber bolt and...
