Yes, although the C7’s I’ve driven didn’t really have any squeaks or rattles
The C7 GS I drove was a super low miles creampuff and it was terrible before I even got out of the dealership parking lot. I got back in my Camaro afterwards and it was so quiet and smooth by comparison I had no desire left for that C7. They could have given it to me and I would have immediately turned around and sold it. Less than 7,000 miles on it.

Not surprised it was in a GS. That car is so stiff and rigid, it’ll rattle the fillings right out of your teeth. I’ve had squeaks and rattles in several prior GM vehicles I’ve owned over the years. The C7’s I’ve driven didn’t but it’s not an uncommon complaint about them. One of the Camaro’s I test drove did have a few squeaks, the other ones I’ve driven did not. I’m sure some of it is luck of the draw. Knock on wood, I don’t have a squeak or rattle anywhere in my Mustang

I would suggest a few options:
1. Keep what you have, drive it and enjoy it. 40k isn't a lot of miles on these newer cars, especiallly with the coyote engine. Unless the car is falling apart mechanically or interior wise.
2. A Mach 1- next step up from the GT in the S550 body stye.. no ipads
3. GT350- totally different experience with the FPC and a 6 speed manual combination.

I personally continue to be amazed at how well my GT350 performs in its price range. No matter what anyone says I cannot see out of the Camaro's and the "berlin wall" in the C8 between the driver and passenger is a no go. I also don't like the body redesign of the C8... looks too much like a super car wannbe.. and finally there are SO MANY c8's on the road... I see them everywhere.
Kind of reminds me of this scene from Gone in 60 Seconds...

I sold my 2018 Mustang GT and bought a BMW Z4M40i. It has been several years and 20k miles and I am quite happy with it.

I drove my wifes uncles C8 3LT vert and I was fairly underwhelmed as well. Styling of the narrow body C8s is very bleh too

Now the Z06, that car is night and day different from the stingray. I ended up buying a 2LZ coupe last year. No delamination issues, no vert top rattles or issues, lighter, cheaper etc. and I absolutely love it.

The biggest gripe I have with the car is the DCT. I get why everyone does it but the argument of its faster etc is all bullshit on the road. Id much rather shift myself than click a paddle. I wnat to pick up another GT350R or even a S550 GT to have a manual car again

Yeah.. turning a dial and mashing a pedal are just underwhelming experiences for a sports car (in My opinion).

In my OPINION, Maybe a better way to state the differences between SUPERCAR Corvette Z06 that I drove vs my MACH 1.
The Corvette is a great car if you want to be relaxed and have the electronics and great engineering do everything for you.
I am positive on track the Corvette is faster by a lot.
The Corvette is: much quicker, much lighter, handles much better, faster, aerodynamics is better, better brakes/stopping, probably better in every single category of Performance.

The Corvette is too good. I found it boring on street at speeds below the speed of sound.
Speaking of sound it did not do it for me. I know some love the SUPERCAR sound of the flat plane crank.
I love the sound and adjustability of my MACH exhaust!

But if you want a car with excitement, on street grocery getter, road course racing, that you need to drive the Mach 1 is better.
Especially with the Dyno plug disconnected in the MACH.

I assume the Corvette has a Dyno plug you could unplug too. But my guess is that the car suspension and chassis is so well designed for RACING that it may still be boring.

The Corvettes cost of maintenance and lack of visibility from the drivers position is a negative for me.
the visibility of my MACH 1 is great!
The only negatives for my car are the 10R80 transmission durability, which is horrendous. And when you change the oil filter, the oil spills down and all over.
synch 3 could be better.
The 2nd splitter/valance is a pain in my as*! I seriously wonder if there is any Performance gains of any type by having that second litter so low and further out front hitting and scraping on everything. And it’s not like it’s $20 to replace it each time! It’s 550+ dollars or more.

As far as ownership, and when you have to deal with FORD and dealers the Ford dealers I’ve dealt with have been poor to horrendous.

The Corvette may have an advantage here in that it is there premier vehicle, and I would hope that they treat any owner of one extremely well.

MY 2022 MACH 1 MUSTANG w/ Handling package vs Camaro, Toyota/BMW Supra, Corvette: A) has very good visual 360. B) Also easier to maintain C) the dashboard does not stick way up high and look weird… I test drove all these cars, including: the Mazda Miata or whatever you wanna call it, which was way too small and underpowered, etc. also tested the Porsche Cayman, which I liked the idea of the mid engine and how it would handle as a result.
Porsche It is way too expensive and time consuming to maintain. When I went to the dealership, the salesman were as*holes.

I love that my MACH 1 is setup for road courses with coolers for all the fluids, magnaride suspension, basic aero, GT350 intake, etc.
A Mustang BADLY NEEDS a stop the hop kit from STEEDA or BMR, etc.!!
