I would raise the WOT start stop point and see if this band-aids the problem.
Any thoughts on what I should try? The maf calculated lb/min numbers the logs are showing looks right to me. I know you mentioned the bandaid but as far as airflow and fueing its just a cai with different injectors. So I feel like something just needs to be tweaked there.
Set pedal ramp 1 and 2 to both like 110%. You essentially eliminate WOT being TB model only, and always have the DD torque correcting. So just need to make sure auF62990 driver request torque is above what torque its calculating from the WOT airflow, and you wil get WOT.

The turbo cars adjust wastegate control to hit a target. So they basically over come atomspheric conditions and meet a target torque at WOT.

In a NA application this isnt a good way to control WOT as atmospheric conditions change. You want to be above maximum at sea level it will get too, but you dont want it to get to like 100Ftlbs or higher above when you travel to higher elevations. Then you will hit IPC limits.

thanks. and that's my problem i'm fighting right now, when the slicks go on, clutch protection (or something) kicks in big time, almost like the brakes are being slammed on the initial hit & on the 1-2 and 2-3 shift.

Most likely clutch protection. Log torque source and it will tell you what it is.

Then you will hit IPC limits.
I know it's not the proper way but you can raise these limits.
Set pedal ramp 1 and 2 to both like 110%.
If this fixes your air load you know it is not a bad MAF sensor or placement.

@markmurfie you posted some time back that you can disable cylair anticipation and it will always calculate load as maf/rpm*4/.0017. Is that not an option here and perhaps what Lund did?

Disable cylair filter(ARCH SWITCH) and it will use directly from the MAF. Its suppose to smooth the signal using the TB, but in this case its like they dont agree.

Leave anticipation on, unless you have a very noisey MAF signal then you can disable it to try to fight the noise.

Its just a WOP- WOT problem from looking at the logs, and WOT start and end seems more likely to cover just the problem and not create something new else where.

I have dyno proven optimal cam timings from my 2022 Gen3 for Comp Stage 3s (some call them stage 2s) but I think you should deal with cam timing nearly last.

Do you care to post them?

Changing intakes is cheaper than buying a quality MAF sensor.

Motorcraft is $110 at rock auto
Got one from ford for $130ish.

I would probably rather spend $100 than swap intakes. I need to clean the garage so I can park in there and use it. Sitting on the 150* concrete with the sun baking down on you with 110*+ temps isn’t fun

I spent a year in Glendale and I have some cousins in Cave Creek. I forgot about the oven this time of year.

Make the changes Mark posted above for the throttle. This may be what Lund does that make their tune run and the others not.
