Good reading, seems AED and Lund are both exceptional tuners!
What is clear Flex tune all the way, clearly makes better power and of course gives you the flexibility.

Correct. The car will sense the fuel that's being used and adjust to it without needing to reflash the vehicle with a different calibration. So if you get a flex tune, can you run all octanes of fuel including e85 without a problem and throwing a cel? So the car adjusts the power output according to what fuel you have in the tank without knocking or any other issues?
Flex fuel is just for ethanol content, not necessarily octane. However, you can tune the car on 87 octane, allow the knock sensor to advance somewhere upwards of 10 degrees of ignition advance, calibrate the flex fuel to run 0%-85% ethanol, and theoretically, run anywhere from 87 octane 0% ethanol to 105 octane 85% ethanol. So if you get a flex tune, can you run all octanes of fuel including e85 without a problem and throwing a cel?
