Does anybody else have the issue where if a prompt comes in(say waze or google maps directions) over the speakers and you are listening to the radio(FM) that it doesnt revert back to the volume level you were at? It does not do it if I am listening to Google play music or the siriusxm app via android auto but I'll have FM on set to 20 and after getting a prompt it will drop to 9 and stay there unless I turn it back up.

Yes, I and many others had that issue. Spart had an answer:
727-01-01-1800-3800-00 (if upgrading ACM to Sat)
That's what I actually had, and seems to be working fine.

Its listed somewhere in the forums here

Yes, but no DSP/amp? So you're not fully upfitted to a 400A/401A package car?

If so, it doesn't matter whether you have a Sat/HD ACM or not. You don't want to use the factory programming for that ACM, and you don't want to use the factory programming from your base ACM either, because our cars never came in these configurations from the factory.

ETA: here is my deeper dive on what all those settings do: https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1810550&postcount=1292

727-01-01 xxxx Xxxx xx may actually be closer to the culprit. Instead of 9800 3800 00, you may need to do 1800 3800 00

In 727-04-01, you may also need to set 727-04-01 to xxx1 x1xx xx if it isn't already.

I dont have the DSP/AMP, I did change the EQ to 0 based upon the recommendation of somebody in the audio question thread. I'll look at it when I get home and make that change recommended.

I edited my post after you replied, please go back and take a look. Be sure to look at my deep dive on the ACM settings.

Was there ever a definitive answer on the compass issue? I have seen mine read correct at times but also opposite with no rhyme or reason. It seems to always default to north initially then after a short time it will settle in correctly or in reverse.

The new antenna definitely needs to be mounted on some sort of steel plate (the original mounting plate for the GPSM is the most obvious choice). Beyond that, there hasn't seemed to be a reason for the reverse problem, but I have a theory: it may be related to the way the excess wire is coiled and stowed in the dash. That coil of wire could act as a rudimentary antenna and receive just enough "extra" signal from the satellites to confuse the APIM. Try re-coiling it loosely and stowing it differently and see if that changes anything.

My antenna is less than 16” long and until it was mounted on the factory plate it did the same thing. I think it’s the Amazon antenna.

I coiled the excess wire and it is behind the APIM by the air ducts toward the firewall. The antenna itself is mounted on the plate where the old antenna used to be. Never had a problem.

I just bought an Amazon antenna. I’m going to test the signal in 3 locations; the dash (factory base,) the roof (Premium) and the Decklid (Premium Convertible.) I’ll give what I find to our antenna engineer and see what he thinks.

Same. I don't know why some are having it and others not.
