the Whipple puts out 825 and doesn’t heat soak like the Roush. The Whipple has much cooler inlet temps and makes more power per pound of boost because it’s more efficient than a roots supercharger.
I haven’t seen one in the 8’s yet, but there’s a lot of Whipples, VMP’s, Kenne Bells and centrifugals that are.
Def Whipple.... agree!

I have seen 1 Roush in the 8z. Casey Shotwell has went 8.9 with a Roush, but it was ported I believe by Jokerz, TH400 and several other mods to get it there.

Not sure if you mean Edelbrock or Eaton Blower, but the new Edelbrock would be a tie for my second place choice.
Edelbrock 2650. Those rotor packs are just owned by Eaton, but they don't produce any cases.

Rouse is cool if you buy it and have it installed at a dealer to get a warranty and are and always will be happy with 750 hp, but if you want to upgrade from
There, there’s not a whole lot to be gained with the Roush. I haven’t seen one in the 8’s yet, but there’s a lot of Whipples, VMP’s, Kenne Bells and centrifugals that are.
That would be the Gen 5 phase 2 kit with 825 alone?

Yes on E-85 it can, not on pump.
compression needs more octane
my friend Dyno’d a 19 that was otherwise stock with the Whipple gen 5 that made 720 at the wheels, that’s over 825 at the flywheel.
Haven’t Dino’d mine yet, but with long tubes and full exhaust I expect 760-770 at the tires on pump gas and over 800 on E85

You can make over a 1000whp with the gen2 whipple still on a 6-rib. I'm on a 3.00 pulley and close to it if not over. Add the 20% lower and a 10 rib setup, you're in the 1200-1400whp range

I know this question is very general. But maybe a "narrowed down" answer might be a guide. Requirements would be:

1) Installed with minimal modification
2) Use existing exhaust. Active Valve. (resonator delete).
3) 93 Octane
4) Low end performance
5)Max HP
Great list - but what about COST? Actually, what would be great is a "cost per WHP" comparison or brands and types! I would have gladly gone with a Stage 2 ProCharger, but it was going to be a lot more money than a Stage 1...

no one cares about flywheel hp.... get real kid.
I don't think it's a genuine thing to do 750+ wheel on pump 93 , maybe at the flywheel yes
It's probably a happy dyno...

Does any one know at what point are you required to add the crank support brace & relocate the alternator on the Whipple? Read somewhere you lose the front sway bar when relocating alternator or adding brace.

Change some pulleys and you can make in the 700s also
Hmmm, I can't leave THAT comment without follow-up: if I took it back to the performance shop that put in my stage 2 that they would know what you mean? I've been told I could move to the Stage 2 Procharger for about $1800 plus labor...

what you posted doesn't make much sense. if you have a stage 2 already then there's nowhere to go with the drive system. if you want a new head unit a bigger one you can upgrade.

Cost for horsepower is about the same all the kids can make some more horsepower now the difference between canned tune kits

stage one and stage two almost always say go right for the stage two

best bang for the buck is the Paxton / vortech kits

Can’t go wrong with any brand though. They are all nice

I'm running ROUSH phase 2 blower set up & Roush max mod cooling kit on my 2021 GT (6000 miles on odo) and very happy with it, no complaints here and i have a warranty!!! After the warranty, I will def get DYNO tuned for maximum power, until then im happy and not looking to be the fastest on the planet, thrilled to have more power than stock. =)
