A cost / benefit analysis is probably in order. I am delighted with my Stage 1 Procharger upgrade to my 2015 GT. It was less expensive than the alternatives - and cost less for my performance shop to install. I went from about 460 WHP to 600. Not bad, but a Stage 2 would get you into the 700s for some extra money.

PD blower is necessary when you have an +18 manual mustang. You need the torque unless you do gears. Then you can use the Procharger or centri.
I had both the Roush 2300 (2011 Coyote stick) and the Whipple (2019 Bullitt stick with the same crummy gearing you have).
Honestly, I would look at gears first. You might be satisfied with the much quicker acceleration out of the hole. That is torque multiplication without the blower. I briefly owned a 2016 with 3.55 gears and forgot how fun it was to drive a Mustang with correct gearing. My 2011 Brembo 3.73 gears was actually geared to low for the Roush. Out of the hole it was really difficult without serious drag radials.

most people are going to recommend what they have, everyone wants to feel special... and they wouldn't have chosen what they chose if it wasn't the best....

best is subjective, it's whats best for you.

comes down to budget, install, power delivery, for some looks, for some availability

procharger is the easiest to install. - 6 week lead time roughly
paxton / vortech, best bang for the buck - 2-3 week lead tim on average
whipple great technology - currently 16-20 weeks
vmp - solid unit - 3-4 weeks.

your always welcome to give me a ring, no one does more power adders than we do and can help steer you in the direction that fits your goals and budget

Change some pulleys and you can make in the 700s also

ford Performance/Roush blowers will fetch more at a Ford dealership especially with proof of authorized installer.
I would think so. I called my dealer if they install superchargers but said they stopped because of liability issues.

What would a price cost of gear changing?

That is some strange reasoning.. the warranty is from roush and these SC's are 50 state legal. Anyhow, any roush certified dealer should be able to install it.

If you go above the Ford performance gears, which I think go up to 4.09, like, say 456, you'll need an aftermarket tune. Any 150-200$ plus the gears and install labor. Likely all in about $1, 000 I would guess.

I'm debating on doing gears to mine. FP 4.09's will make a 2018+ roughly equivalent to a pre 18 with 3.55's for the first 3 gears, but wouldn't ever need to shift out of 4th at the quarter for what I plan on doing.

1st 49 vs48
2nd 74 vs 74
3rd 106 vs 109
4th 136 vs 156

If you purchase a new/used differential you can get it installed for around $300. You can get up to 3.73 in a used differential with low miles for around $300-$400. If you want something beyond that you will be paying a lot more than that. Probably 4x so I would try and make something that is available in the factory differential work

I hate to bring this up. But I was always wondering if adding the supercharger would increase or decrease the value of the car. After checking 2 online buyers ( Vroom, Carvana), I made an input with and without the supercharger, it looks like it DECREASES the value by about 4K. Carmax wants to schedule an appointment to see the car with the supercharger. I guess in putting it under "car mod" is why.
They sell them at a premium that's for sure. If it's a clean pro installation they will try to buy the car at a negative and sell what the market will bear. If it's not factory quality they won't even make an offer. I have never seen them sell an S/C car below an equivalent "untouched car". So they will likely pay a bit more if you hold out. Get a face to face offer.

In all actuality they will try to sell the car for like 10-12k over book. Which is what I would expect if I sold mine with only a supercharger.

Kinda like a restoration. You seldom to never recoup what you have in it.But the loss goes down when you add in all the fun you had with it.
