If you can swing its price then by all means whipple. Im too impatient to wait so I went with a kit that was a bit more than half the price of a whipple.

You must look at the big picture... What makes the car fun to drive? Simple, it's torque. That's what puts the smile on your face when you smash the gas. That's why without a doubt I would opt for the VMP blower. Plus, now they have the Gen 2 R they have just released for the GT500s, and I'm sure the coyote blower isn't far behind.

My last car was an 07 GT500 and I made 800rwhp without ever removing the valve covers using the VMP supercharger. I ran many other GT500s with Whipples, Kenne Bell, and other blowers... and I never got outrun by one of the larger displacement blowers. The owners of Whipple cars would ride in mine and all say the same thing about the torque curve it had. The initial hit when you go WOT is incredible and full boost is pretty much instant. Plus, Justin and BJ at VMP are absolutely top notch guys that are really good at what they do.

Go with VMP and don't look back.

Interesting, thanks for the feedback on that. Are you going with a VMP on your GT?

Our cars now on our stock shipping tunes trap over 131mph in the 1/4...(on just 10psi)
With ZERO mods to the car, running normal gas station pump fuel.

TQ numbers are some of the most impressive you will ever see.
Thanks to the compression friendly boost, and the way these cars move the cams.

And by FARRRRRRR its the easiest to install.
And the least expensive option. (saves you money for more mods down the road)

If you have any questions, just let me us know!

Don't get caught up in the TVS Hype/BS. Why start with such a small supercharger and have to add Nitrous, water meth, porting, etc. just to compete with a Twin Screw. When you can by a KB Twin Screw at the same cost With the only upgrade being a pulley change. Also think about going with a company that has fulfilled the CARB requirements and can legally sell the kits. No hassles down the road when you need to smog or have the inspections done.

When I bought mine it was between KB and Whipple! I choose Whipple because of the front feed and I didn't have to change motor mounts. But the KB is a fine ass kit too!!

As any supercharger company knows for every pound of boost you get 10* we designed the LC to help combat heat soak which works really well. Also keeps the front bearings and oil cool which equates to more longevity under extreme conditions. It allows you to run 20+psi without any issues on your daily driver.

Yes, as soon as I pinch enough pennies I will be ordering a VMP for my car. Call down there and speak to BJ about it, he will shoot straight with you.

On a side note... Love the response from KB lol. It is not TVS bs/hype. It is fact. The 2.3 TVS will easily compete with the larger twin screw style blowers. As for reliability, why did Ford go with the TVS style blowers on production GT500's?? Because they wouldn't last??? I don't think so.... Those type of responses are why I wil never purchase a KB product for my car.
